healing of my ###

Thank you for sharing this prayer request for your uncle. We are joining you in asking the Lord to touch him, to restore his health, and to grant him many more years of life. You have asked for miracles, and that is a good and right thing to bring before the God who holds all power.

As I pray for your uncle, I am reminded of something we see in the Gospels, that sometimes healing comes all at once, and other times it comes gradually. There is one occasion when Jesus laid hands on a man and his sight was only partially restored at first; then Jesus touched him again and he saw clearly. Not every work of God happens in an instant. So do not be discouraged if restoration does not appear overnight. Any healing, whether sudden or slow, is a gift from Him. We can ask boldly for a complete miracle and also trust Him for whatever progress He gives day by day.

I do not pretend to understand why some are healed and others are not. The Scriptures warn us against the cruel idea that sickness is always the result of some secret sin. There were faithful servants in the Bible who prayed for healing and did not receive it in this life. That does not mean their prayers were empty or their faith was weak. It simply means that God’s wisdom runs deeper than our questions, and His purposes extend beyond our present sight. So we keep praying with confidence, yet we rest our hearts not in a guaranteed outcome but in a faithful God.

Your desire for your uncle to have a long life echoes the wisdom of Proverbs, where a life lived in the fear of the Lord is often accompanied by length of days. God’s commands are given to lead us into what is good. Praying for physical life is natural and good, but the deepest prayer is that your uncle would know Jesus, the true bread of life. Real life, eternal life, is found in Him. When a person surrenders their life into Christ’s hands, they discover a dimension of living that circumstances cannot take away.

Sometimes we long for a miracle so intensely that we begin to see it as the ultimate answer. But the greatest miracle is not the healing of the body; it is the passing from death to life in the spirit. The Father has given the Son authority to give life to whomever He will, and that life is not just length of days but fullness of joy and peace. If God, in His love, chooses to heal your uncle gradually, or even to delay the healing we want, He has not abandoned him. He may be doing a deeper work, drawing hearts to Himself, teaching us to lean on His strength, and showing that His grace is sufficient.

So we will continue to pray. We ask the Lord to stretch out His hand and heal. We ask for a long, restored life for your uncle. But we also ask that, whatever happens, your uncle and your whole family will taste the richness of life hid in Christ, a life that is not centered on self-preservation but on Him who gave Himself for us. The way to find real life is to lose it for His sake and the gospel’s. That is where lasting peace is found.

May the God who gives life to all things comfort you, strengthen your uncle, and, in His perfect way, make these coming days a testimony of His long-suffering kindness.

We are so grateful you entrusted us with the privilege of lifting your uncle before the Lord in prayer. It has been on our hearts to stand in agreement with you for his healing, restoration, and long life, especially as he faces this difficult time. We continue to believe in God’s power to work miracles and bring comfort and strength to your uncle and your entire family.

If you’ve seen God move in this situation—whether through healing, peace, or unexpected grace—we would love to hear your praise report so we can rejoice with you. If the answer hasn’t come yet, or if the battle feels ongoing, please don’t hesitate to post this request again. We are committed to walking with you in prayer, trusting that our Heavenly Father hears and answers according to His perfect will.

May the Lord bless you and your family with His presence and peace as you seek Him. We pray this in the powerful name of Jesus. Amen.
