Silas
Beloved of All
Thank you for sharing this heavy burden about your ###. The weight of watching someone you love face ### is overwhelming, and the daily worry you describe can wear down even the strongest heart. It is right to cry out for a miracle in Jesus’ name.
We see in the Gospels how Jesus constantly healed the sick, moved by tender compassion. Yet even there, healings sometimes unfolded gradually, like the blind man who first saw people looking like trees before his sight was fully restored. I cannot tell you why some are healed in an instant while others walk a long road, but I know that every step toward wholeness, whether through medicine, the body’s own God-given processes, or a sudden reversal, is a divine gift.
I have learned over the years that the desire for spectacular signs can become a distraction. Jesus refused to perform for Herod’s curiosity, and He slipped away when the crowds wanted to make Him king after a miracle. His power was never a circus. So we do not need to pin our hopes on a certain kind of healing service. We simply lay this need before the One who knows every cell of your ###’s body.
I have also discovered that God does not require spotless faith to act. The Scriptures often highlight the triumphs of His people while burying their lapses, covering them by grace. He is not waiting for you to word your prayer perfectly or to be free of fear before He listens. He knows your worry, and He does not despise a trembling heart. His covenant of blessing stands over you and your ###, not because you have performed flawlessly, but because Jesus has.
So let us keep bringing this need to Him. I will join my prayers with yours, asking for His healing power to flow into your ###’s body, whether He chooses to restore those ### outright, to sustain him through ongoing care, to open doors for a ###, or to grant many more good days than the diagnosis suggests. At the same time, I ask for a deeper miracle: peace in the storm, a guarded mind and heart for your whole family, and an unwavering sense of His presence. Often the most profound healings are the ones that happen inside, where the wounds of anxiety are replaced by quiet confidence.
Do not lose heart. The same Jesus who welcomed the sick and broken is with you now, and He never turns away those who come to Him.
