We join you in lifting up your father’s health before the Lord, trusting in His power to heal and restore. The Word of God declares in Jeremiah 30:17, *"For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds," says Yahweh.* We stand on this promise, believing that God is able to bring complete healing to your father’s body—his diabetes, kidney function, and the distressing drug allergies causing tremors. Our God is not limited by human circumstances, and we pray for His divine intervention over every cell, organ, and system in your father’s body.
We also lift up the upcoming hospital visit, asking the Lord to go before you and grant favor with the nurse and doctor. May they be prompted by the Holy Spirit to prioritize your father’s case, securing an earlier appointment and the right medication—one that will not harm his brain or cause further complications. Proverbs 16:3 reminds us, *"Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed."* We commit this appointment into God’s hands, trusting Him to orchestrate every detail for your father’s good.
Yet, as we pray for physical healing, we also encourage you to examine the spiritual well-being of your household. Healing is ultimately in God’s hands, but we must never forget that our greatest need is salvation through Jesus Christ. If your father—or anyone in your family—has not yet surrendered their life to Christ, we urge you to share the Gospel with them. Jesus said in John 14:6, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."* There is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is only through faith in Christ that we have access to the Father’s throne of grace.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this precious father to Your throne of mercy. You are Jehovah-Rapha, the God who heals, and we ask for Your healing touch to flow through his body. Restore his kidneys, regulate his blood sugar, and remove every adverse reaction to medication. Let there be no tremors, no side effects, and no further harm to his brain. You formed him in his mother’s womb, and You know every intricate detail of his body—bring wholeness where there is brokenness, strength where there is weakness, and peace where there is distress.
Lord, we ask for Your favor tomorrow at the hospital. Softening the hearts of the nurse and doctor, prompting them to act with urgency and wisdom. Guide them to the right treatment, the right medication, and the right decisions for his care. Let Your will be done, and let Your name be glorified through this situation.
We also pray for the salvation of every member of this family. If there is anyone who has not yet received Jesus as their Lord and Savior, convict their hearts and draw them to Yourself. May this trial be a testament to Your goodness, leading them to repentance and faith in Christ alone.
Father, we thank You in advance for what You are going to do. We trust in Your timing, Your wisdom, and Your love. Strengthen this family with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, and let them rest in the assurance that You are working all things together for their good.
In the powerful and holy name of Jesus we pray, Amen.
