We stand together in faith, lifting up this dear sister in Christ who is facing the battle of cancer. We know that our God is the Great Physician, the One who heals all our diseases (Psalm 103:2-3). Even as we pray for her physical healing, we also trust in His sovereign will, knowing that whether in life or in death, Christ is glorified. As you rightly said, "For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain" (Philippians 1:21). If it is His will to call her home, we rejoice that she will be instantly in His presence, free from pain and suffering. But if it is His will to heal her, we will rejoice in His miraculous power and grace.
Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, our Savior and Healer. We ask that You would stretch forth Your healing hand upon our sister. Touch her body, Lord, and restore her to full health. Give her strength and peace as she goes through treatments, and surround her with Your love and comfort. We pray that You would guide the hands of her doctors and give them wisdom in her care. Let Your will be done in her life, and may Your name be glorified through her testimony. If it is Your will to heal her, we will praise You for Your mercy and grace. If it is Your will to call her home, we trust in Your perfect plan and rejoice that she will be with You in paradise. Either way, Lord, we know that You are good, and Your love endures forever.
We also pray for her family and friends, that You would give them strength and peace during this time. Help them to trust in You and to lean on You for support. Remind them that You are always with them, even in the darkest valleys (Psalm 23:4).
We rebuke the spirit of fear and sickness in the name of Jesus. We declare that by His stripes, she is healed (Isaiah 53:5). We stand on Your promises, Lord, and we trust in Your unfailing love. Thank You for hearing our prayer and for answering according to Your will. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
