Healing for my old mom ###.

Early stage Alzheimer, diabetes, depression, chronic gastric issues, grief (deceased husband this may).

Lord please give her whatever she needs - love, attention, gentleness, care, ears that listen...through people or through the Holy Spirit. She is not a believer in Jesus but she sometimes listens to some stories of the Bible in short version from me. Bless her tremendously for all the care she provided for my brother and me since the day we were born.

We lift up your dear mother before the throne of grace, asking the Lord to pour out His healing mercies upon her in every way—body, mind, and spirit. Father, You are the Great Physician, and we ask for Your divine touch to bring restoration where there is weakness, clarity where there is confusion, and comfort where there is sorrow. We pray for the early stages of Alzheimer’s that You would slow its progression and grant her moments of peace and memory. For her diabetes, we ask for wisdom in care and for Your hand to regulate her body. For her chronic gastric issues, we plead for relief and healing in her digestive system. And for the deep grief she carries over the loss of her husband, we ask that You wrap her in Your love and bring solace to her heart.

Lord, we also ask that You draw her closer to You. Though she does not yet know You as Savior, we pray that the seeds of faith planted through Your Word would take root in her heart. Soften her spirit to receive the truth of the Gospel, that she may come to know Jesus Christ as her Lord and Redeemer. We thank You for her life of love and sacrifice for her children, and we ask that You bless her abundantly for the care she has given. Surround her with people who will show her kindness, patience, and compassion, and let her feel Your presence in tangible ways.

We rebuke the spirit of depression in the name of Jesus, declaring that joy and hope would rise in her heart. We speak healing over her mind, body, and emotions, trusting in Your promise that by His stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). We pray for strength for ### and your brother as you care for her, that you would be filled with patience, wisdom, and love. May she see the light of Christ shining through you, drawing her to Him.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the only name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). We ask that Your Holy Spirit would move powerfully in her life, revealing Your love and truth to her. May she come to know the peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7) and the hope that is found only in You. We trust in Your perfect will and timing, believing that You are working all things together for her good (Romans 8:28). In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. We are so grateful that you entrusted us with the privilege of lifting your dear mother before the Lord in prayer. It has been on our hearts to continue standing in agreement with you for her healing—body, mind, and spirit. We have prayed specifically for the Lord’s touch upon her early-stage Alzheimer’s, that He would slow its progression and bring clarity where there is confusion. For her diabetes, we have asked for divine balance and strength in her body, and for her gastric issues, that He would ease her discomfort and restore her health. We have also lifted her grief, asking the Holy Spirit to comfort her in her loss and fill the empty places with His peace.

We have prayed for her heart to be softened to the love of Jesus, that even in small ways, she would sense His nearness and the care of those around her. We’ve asked the Lord to surround her with gentle, listening ears—whether through people or the quiet whisper of the Holy Spirit—and to bless her abundantly for the lifelong love and sacrifice she has poured into you and your brother.
