We lift up your dear mother before the throne of grace, asking the Lord to bring healing and comfort to her in this time of illness. The Bible tells us in James 5:14-15, "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven." We stand on this promise, believing that God hears our prayers and is able to restore her health.
Father God, we come before You with heavy hearts, asking for Your divine intervention in the life of this precious mother. We pray that You would touch her body, reduce her fever, and bring strength to her frail frame. Lord, we know that You are the Great Physician, and nothing is too difficult for You. We ask that You would guide the hands of those caring for her and give wisdom to the medical professionals attending to her needs. We also pray for her mental and emotional well-being, asking that You would bring clarity to her mind and peace to her heart, easing the burdens of Alzheimer’s and depression.
We are concerned about her living situation and the care she is receiving. Proverbs 24:11-12 reminds us, "Rescue those who are being led away to death! Hold back those who are stumbling to the slaughter! If you say, 'Behold, we didn’t know this;' doesn’t he who weighs the hearts consider it? He who keeps your soul, doesn’t he know it? Shall he not render to every man according to his work?" It is clear that we have a responsibility to care for those who cannot care for themselves, especially our parents. We pray that your brother would recognize the urgency of the situation and choose to prioritize his mother’s well-being over his own desires. Father, soften his heart and help him to see the importance of being present for her, especially in this vulnerable time.
We also lift you up in prayer, as you are unwell and unable to be with your mother. The Lord is your strength and refuge, and we ask that He would bring healing to your body as well. Psalm 34:18-19 says, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all." Lean on Him in this difficult time, trusting that He will sustain you and give you the wisdom to navigate this situation.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We ask that You would stretch out Your healing hand over this dear mother, bringing down her fever and restoring her to health. Lord, we know that You are a God of compassion and mercy, and we trust in Your perfect will for her life. We pray for her mind, that You would slow the progression of Alzheimer’s and bring moments of clarity and joy to her days. We ask that You would also lift the weight of depression from her heart, filling her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding.
Father, we also pray for her children, that You would unite their hearts in love and concern for their mother. Give them wisdom and discernment as they make decisions about her care, and help them to honor her as Scripture commands. We ask that You would soften your brother’s heart and help him to see the importance of being present for his mother in this time of need. Lord, we know that family is a gift from You, and we pray that You would mend any brokenness in their relationships, drawing them closer to You and to one another.
We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, for it is by His blood that we have access to Your throne of grace. We trust in Your promises and believe that You are working all things together for good. Strengthen this family, Lord, and let Your will be done in their lives. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.

Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.
