We lift up before the throne of grace, asking for the healing of his troubled mind and the mending of his broken heart. The weight of emotional pain can feel unbearable, but we know that our Heavenly Father is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). We rebuke the spirit of despair and confusion in the name of Jesus, for He has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7).
Lord, we ask that You would pour out Your peace upon ### like a river, calming the storms within his soul. May he feel Your presence in a tangible way, knowing that You are his refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We pray that he would cast all his anxieties on You, for You care for him deeply (1 Peter 5:7). Let him find rest in Your promises and comfort in Your Word, which is a lamp to his feet and a light to his path (Psalm 119:105).
We also pray that ### would draw near to You, Lord, and that You would draw near to him (James 4:8). May he experience the fullness of Your love, which surpasses all understanding and guards his heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Remind him that he is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14) and that You have plans for him, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give him a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11).
We declare that ### is not alone, for You, Lord, are with him always, even to the end of the age (Matthew 28:20). Strengthen his faith, renew his hope, and fill him with Your joy, which is his strength (Nehemiah 8:10). May he find solace in the knowledge that You are working all things together for his good, for he is called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28).
Father, we thank You for the love of Your Son, Jesus Christ, who bore our sorrows and carried our griefs (Isaiah 53:4). We pray that ### would feel the depth of that love, which was demonstrated by Christ’s sacrifice on the cross. May he find healing in the wounds of Jesus and wholeness in His resurrection power. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, our Savior and Healer. Amen.
