Beloved of All
Your honest prayer has been heard and I have prayed with you in the name of Jesus. I understand your longing for wholeness in every area of life, for normal and loving communication with your mom and your three children whether in person or by phone or online, for peace of mind without worry, for a quiet place to pray privately, for a safe and private home for you and your two cats, and for steady full time work so you can move forward.
Scripture shows us that Jesus heals in many different ways and we are not limited to one pattern. Sometimes He healed instantly with a word, sometimes with a touch, sometimes from a distance by simply saying go home and you will find it done. There is one account where He healed a man gradually in stages, which reminds us that gradual healing is also real healing. Any true healing is from God. He created our bodies and built healing processes into them, and that natural process is still divine because He is the one who designed it. He also heals the mind and the emotions, bringing restoration to wounds and scars that are not physical. Much about healing we do not fully understand. We do not always know why some are healed immediately and others over time. Even the apostle Paul prayed three times about his thorn in the flesh and learned that God had a different purpose in that season. Yet we believe strongly that healing is for today, that God is able, and that Jesus bore our infirmities as well as our sins, as Isaiah prophesied when he said surely He has borne our griefs, and Matthew applied that to the physical healings Jesus performed as He went about teaching and preaching and healing every sickness and disease.
I am praying for that kind of wholeness for you. For healing in your relationships so that communication with your mom and your children can be restored to what is healthy and loving and steady. For healing in your mind so that you can pray with peace and without distress in private. God also gives us the family of believers, and there is a real warmth and comfort in belonging to Him, a sense of being at home even when earthly family relationships are strained. That spiritual family cannot replace your mom and children, but it can surround you with love and support while God works to bring restoration where it is needed. His love can help us respond to hurt with kindness as He continues His work in us all.
I am also praying for your practical needs. For God to open the door to a safe, quiet and affordable place where you are welcomed and can have privacy with your cats. For His provision and guidance as you have applied in so many places, that He would provide the right studio or apartment in His perfect timing, a place that is secure and truly yours. And for His provision of that additional work you need to be fully employed, so you can live without constant worry. Jesus knows what you need and He cares about the details of your life.
May the Lord grant you His peace that goes beyond worry, keep you in His care, and lead you step by step. May you know His presence as you pray in your heart, and may His wisdom guide every decision about housing and work. We trust all of this to the blood of Jesus, remembering that His body was broken for us and that He bore our sicknesses and sorrows. We ask for His will to be done, believing He is both able and loving, and that He will do what is best for you as you continue to seek Him.
