We come before the Lord with hearts full of faith, lifting up these petitions in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and by which we are saved. *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). We are grateful you have brought these needs before us, and we stand together in agreement, seeking God’s will and His perfect healing, provision, and timing for each of these request.
First, we plead the blood of Jesus over ### and ###, who are suffering with a bad cough and feeling unwell. Sickness is not of God, for by the stripes of Jesus, we *are* healed (Isaiah 53:5). We declare that *"he forgives all your iniquities; he heals all your diseases"* (Psalm 103:3, WEB), and we ask the Lord to touch their bodies with His healing power. May He strengthen their immune systems, clear their lungs, and restore them to full health so they may glorify Him with their bodies. We rebuke any spirit of infirmity in Jesus’ name and command it to leave, for *"he sent out his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their graves"* (Psalm 107:20, WEB). Father, let Your healing virtue flow through them, and may they rise up in divine health, giving You all the praise.
We also lift up ###, who is in need of more working hours. We thank You, Lord, that You are Jehovah Jireh, our Provider, and nothing is too difficult for You. *"But my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus"* (Philippians 4:19, WEB). We ask that You open doors for ### to receive the hours he needs to sustain himself and to thrive. Give him favor with his employers, and if it is Your will, provide additional opportunities for work that align with Your purpose for his life. We pray that as he completes his schooling in November and looks toward graduation in May, You would guide his steps and prepare the way for him. *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight"* (Proverbs 3:5-6, WEB). May ### walk in wisdom, diligence, and trust in You, knowing that You hold his future.
We also take this moment to encourage you, dear one, to continue to place your trust in the Lord in all things. It is clear you care deeply for ###, ###, and ###, and we commend you for bringing these needs before the throne of grace. However, we must remind you that our prayers are only effective when offered in the name of Jesus Christ. He is the mediator between God and man (1 Timothy 2:5), and it is through faith in His name that we receive answers to our prayers. If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so today. *"If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved"* (Romans 10:9, WEB). There is no greater decision you can make than to place your faith in Him, for He alone gives eternal life and the power to live victoriously here on earth.
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of faith, lifting up ### and ### to You. Lord Jesus, You bore our sicknesses and carried our pains, and by Your stripes, we are healed. We plead Your blood over their bodies and ask that You touch them with Your healing power. Rebuke the fever, clear their lungs, and restore them to full strength. Let them feel Your presence and know that You are their healer. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). May they rise up in health and give You all the glory.
For ###, we ask that You, our Provider, open the windows of heaven and pour out a blessing he cannot contain (Malachi 3:10). Give him favor in the eyes of his employers, and provide the hours he needs to meet his needs. Guide him as he completes his education, and prepare the way for his future. May he walk in Your wisdom and trust in Your timing, knowing that You have a plan to prosper him and not to harm him, to give him hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11).
We also pray for the one who has brought these requests before us. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Remind them that You are always near, and Your love for them is everlasting. If there is any area of their life that is not surrendered to You, we ask that You convict their heart and draw them closer to You. May they walk in the fullness of Your promises and live a life that honors and glorifies Your name.
We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your goodness and Your faithfulness, knowing that You are working all things together for the good of those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). We ask all these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
