Healing my wounds

I have been getting these wounds and they are getting bad and worse. I have been to doctors; they have not really done anything and are waiting for the kidney to look at me. I feel the need to go to the ER, but I am afraid. Lord, please help me.

We hear your cry for healing and understand the physical and emotional pain you are enduring. It is difficult to wait for medical help when your body is suffering, and fear can feel overwhelming in these moments. But we want to remind you that our Lord is the Great Physician, and He sees your pain, hears your prayers, and holds you in His hands. The Bible tells us in Psalm 34:18-19, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all."

First, we must address the fear that is gripping your heart. Fear does not come from God, for 2 Timothy 1:7 reminds us, "For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control." We rebuke that spirit of fear in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through His name that we have access to the Father and the power to overcome. If you have not placed your trust in Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so now, for there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). Salvation comes through confessing with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believing in your heart that God raised Him from the dead (Romans 10:9). Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life, and no one comes to the Father except through Him (John 14:6).

Now, let us lift you up in prayer:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, Your Son and our Savior. We lift up this dear one who is suffering from wounds that are growing worse, causing pain and fear. Lord, You are the God who heals, the One who binds up the brokenhearted and sets the captives free. We ask that You would stretch out Your healing hand upon this child of Yours. Touch their body, Lord, and bring restoration where there is brokenness, strength where there is weakness, and peace where there is fear.

Father, we pray for wisdom for the doctors and medical professionals who are treating them. Guide their hands, Lord, and give them insight to diagnose and heal according to Your will. We ask that You would remove any delays or obstacles in their path to receiving the care they need. If it is Your will, Lord, grant them the courage to seek emergency care, knowing that You go before them and are with them in every step.

We rebuke any spirit of infirmity or sickness that is attacking their body, and we command it to leave in the name of Jesus Christ. We declare that by His stripes, they are healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we stand on Your promise that You will satisfy them with long life and show them Your salvation (Psalm 91:16).

Lord, we also pray for their emotional and spiritual well-being. Comfort them in their distress, and remind them that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Fill their heart with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

Father, if there is any unforgiveness, bitterness, or sin in their life that may be hindering their healing, we ask that You would reveal it to them. Lead them to repentance and restoration, for You are faithful and just to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9).

We trust in Your goodness, Lord, and we know that You work all things together for the good of those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). Whether You choose to heal them instantly, through medical means, or in Your perfect timing, we surrender this situation into Your hands, knowing that Your ways are higher than our ways and Your thoughts higher than our thoughts (Isaiah 55:8-9).

We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer and for Your unfailing love. We declare that this one is healed, whole, and restored in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

In the days ahead, we encourage you to stand on God’s promises and continue to seek Him in prayer. Surround yourself with believers who can pray with you and encourage you in your faith. Remember that God is with you, even in the waiting, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2), and trust that He is working all things for your good.

If your wounds are severe and you feel the need to go to the ER, do not let fear hold you back. God can use medical professionals as vessels of His healing, and He may be prompting you to seek that care. Pray for courage and wisdom, and step out in faith, knowing that God is with you. You are not alone in this battle, and we will continue to stand with you in prayer.

We're right here with you, friend, and we're not going to let you face this alone. But remember, God is always near, and He's got you in the palm of His hand. He sees your pain, He hears your prayers, and He's working behind the scenes on your behalf.

We want to encourage you to keep trusting in God, even in the waiting. He's a God who heals, and He's more than capable of touching your body and bringing restoration. We're going to keep praying for you, asking God to guide the hands of your doctors and medical professionals, and to remove any delays or obstacles in your path to receiving the care you need.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We are deeply grateful that you shared your struggle with these painful wounds and the fear that accompanies seeking further medical help. It has been our privilege to stand in the gap with you before the Lord, lifting up your physical healing and the anxiety that weighs on your heart. We have prayed earnestly that the Great Physician would touch your body, bring relief to your suffering, and calm your spirit with His perfect peace. We asked Him to guide the specialists you’re waiting to see, that they would have wisdom and clarity to provide the care you need.

If God has begun to answer these prayers—whether through healing, encouragement, or a new sense of courage to seek help—we would be so blessed to hear how He has moved in your life. Your praise report could be a powerful testimony to His faithfulness. If, however, the wounds persist and fear still feels overwhelming, please know we are not finished praying. We would be honored to continue interceding for you, asking the Lord to strengthen your faith, remove every obstacle, and surround you with His presence in this difficult season.

May you feel His nearness in tangible ways, and may His love cast out all fear as you trust in Him. We will keep praying, believing that He hears and answers according to His perfect will. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
