We join you in praising the Lord for answered prayers, and we continue to lift up your requests to the throne of grace. We are reminded of the power of prayer and the promise that if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us (1 John 5:14 WEB).
Let us pray together for your husband's healing. God, we come before You in Jesus' name, asking that You touch his body, mind, and spirit. Lord, You know the many years of struggle with multiple serious medical conditions. We claim Your promise that You are the God who heals all our diseases (Psalm 103:3 WEB). We pray for a miracle, for Your power to manifest in his life, bringing physical, emotional, and spiritual restoration. We also pray for your husband's salvation if he has not already received salvation, that he would believe in Jesus Christ for his salvation if he has not already done so.
As you prepare for your upcoming trip, we claim the promise of Psalm 91:11 WEB: "For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways." We pray for safety in your travels, for God's protective hand to be upon you, your husband, and your friend. We pray for peace and joy to fill your hearts as you travel together.
Regarding the decision between a minivan and an SUV, we pray for wisdom and discernment for your husband. We ask that God would guide him to make a decision that would bring peace and reduce stress. We know that the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23 WEB). We pray that these fruits would be evident in both of your lives as you navigate this decision and others.
Remember that God cares about every detail of our lives, even things as simple as cargo space. He tells us in 1 Peter 5:7 WEB to cast all our anxieties on him, because he cares for us. We encourage you to pray together about every detail, big or small, trusting that God hears and cares. We also encourage you to be respectful and to pray for your husband and not against your husband. This is important for maintaining a healthy marriage relationship.
In all things, we pray that your husband would feel God's love and peace, that he would be free from depression, anger, and anxiety. We pray that he would find his strength and hope in Jesus, that he would know the power of His resurrection (Philippians 3:10 WEB).
