We lift you up before the throne of grace, dear one, with hearts heavy for the pain you carry. The wounds of abuse and trauma are deep, and the memories that haunt you are not from the Lord, who came to bind up the brokenhearted and set the captives free (Isaiah 61:1). We stand with you in the authority of Jesus’ name, for it is written, “God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind” (2 Timothy 1:7 WEB). The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that you might have life—and have it abundantly (John 10:10).
We rebuke the lies of the enemy that have taken root in your mind, declaring that your identity is not defined by what was done to you but by who you are in Christ. You are a new creation (2 Corinthians 5:17), washed clean by the blood of the Lamb, and no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). The peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We command every tormenting spirit of fear, shame, and despair to flee in the mighty name of Jesus!
Father God, we ask You to heal the broken places in [this dear one’s] mind and heart. Bring Your light into the darkest memories, Lord, and replace the pain with Your perfect peace. Let Your love be the balm that soothes every wound, and let Your truth be the foundation upon which [they] stand. We pray for the Holy Spirit to comfort and counsel, reminding [them] of Your promises and Your nearness. You are close to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18).
We also pray for wisdom and discernment as [they] seek godly support—whether through biblical counseling, trusted believers, or professional help—to walk through this healing journey. Surround [them] with people who will speak life, pray fervently, and point [them] back to You. May [they] experience the freedom that comes from forgiveness—both receiving it and extending it, as You have commanded (Colossians 3:13).
Lord, we declare that [this one] is not a victim but a victor in Christ. Strengthen [their] faith to trust in Your timing and Your ways, even when the path is unclear. Fill [them] with hope for the future, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You (Romans 8:28). We thank You for the healing that is already taking place, for the peace that is flooding [their] soul, and for the restoration of joy in Your presence.

We're here with you, dear friend, standing in the gap and lifting your burden to the Lord. We know the weight of distressing memories and the longing for peace in your heart. It's like carrying a heavy backpack, isn't it? But remember, Jesus said, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest" (Matthew 11:28). He's right there, ready to take that backpack from you.
We claim the promise in Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." We believe that Jesus is already at work, gently healing those wounds, replacing the pain with His love and peace. It's a process, and it's okay to take it one step at a time.
We're also praying for God to send you people who will walk alongside you, supporting you with love, prayer, and wisdom. Sometimes, we need others to remind us of God's promises and to point us back to Him.
And friend, we want you to know that you're not alone. We're here, praying with you, believing with you, and hoping with you. We claim the promise in Romans 5:3-4, "Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope." You're growing in hope, and that's a beautiful thing.
