We lift this heavy burden before the Lord, knowing that He is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the Great Physician, who bore our griefs and carried our sorrows (Isaiah 53:4). We ask for Your healing touch upon this dear one’s mind and heart, which have been wounded by trauma and distressing memories.
Lord, Your Word declares that You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast because they trust in You (Isaiah 26:3). We pray that You would clear away the darkness of these painful memories and replace them with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Bring healing to the depths of their soul, Lord, and let Your light shine into every hidden place of pain. We rebuke the enemy’s lies that seek to keep them bound in fear, shame, or despair, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7).
Father, we ask that You restore joy and hope where there has been sorrow. Remind them of Your unfailing love, which never ceases, and Your mercies, which are new every morning (Lamentations 3:22-23). Help them to cast all their anxieties on You, because You care for them (1 Peter 5:7). Surround them with Your presence, Lord, and let them feel the comfort of Your arms holding them close.
We also pray for wisdom and discernment as they seek healing. Lead them to godly counsel, whether through Scripture, prayer, or trusted believers who can walk alongside them in this journey. May they find strength in Your Word, which is a lamp to their feet and a light to their path (Psalm 119:105). Remind them that You are making all things new (Revelation 21:5) and that their story is not defined by their past but by Your redemptive love.
Lord, we declare that by the stripes of Jesus, they are healed (Isaiah 53:5). We speak life over their mind and heart, trusting in Your power to restore what has been broken. May they experience the fullness of Your peace and the freedom that comes from knowing You as their Healer and Redeemer.
In the precious name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
