Healing, guidance, protection, strength and financial stabilty

We have heard your prayer and we join you in bringing it before the Lord Jesus with thanksgiving and hope.

We thank God with you for His blessings and for His mercy that forgives our sins through Jesus Christ alone. We are praying for your complete healing and for strength as you begin chemotherapy tomorrow for your first cycle. We ask the Lord to be near you, to grant you endurance, to make the side effects manageable, and to sustain your body so that you are not weakened beyond what you can bear. We pray that your laboratory results will be good and that your treatments will continue without delay, according to His wisdom and care.

We also lift up your whole family before Him, asking for His healing touch where there is sickness, and for His guidance and protection over each of you every day. We pray that He will guard you from harm, lead you in His peace, and give you confidence in His presence through every step of this trial.

We pray too for financial stability for you and your household. God knows your medical needs and your daily expenses, and we ask Him to provide for you faithfully, to open doors of provision, and to give you wisdom as you steward what He supplies.

In this season of waiting and treatment, may you find strength in His promises. He has said, Fear not, for I am with you, be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. Cast your cares on Him, for He cares for you, and trust that whether by healing in this life or by His perfect will, His love for you in Christ remains sure.

We will continue to pray for you, for manageable treatments, for restored health, for protection over your family, and for daily provision. May the Lord grant you peace, courage, and comfort as you look to Jesus, our great physician and our only hope.

In the name of Jesus we pray, Amen.

Thank you for sharing your heart so openly and for allowing us to pray with you. Your request has been lifted before the Lord, and we continue to hold you and your family before Him.

We pray for your healing and for strength as you begin chemotherapy. We ask the Lord to be near to you in each treatment, to make side effects manageable, to sustain your body, and to grant favorable lab results so that your care can continue without delay. We also pray for your family, for their health and protection, and for the Lord's guidance over every step you face together. We bring your financial needs before Him as well, asking Him to provide for your medical costs and daily needs according to His care and abundance.

Scripture reveals the Lord as the one who heals, the Lord our healer, and as the one who becomes to us what we need. When we need forgiveness and salvation, He is our Savior through Jesus. When we need healing, strength, provision, and protection, He meets us in those needs. A large part of the Gospels shows Jesus touching and healing those who were sick and afflicted, and Matthew reminds us that this fulfills what Isaiah spoke, that He Himself bore our infirmities and carried our sicknesses.

We do not understand all the ways God brings healing, and why He works differently in different lives. The Gospels show that Jesus healed in many ways. Sometimes instantly, sometimes gradually, sometimes with a touch, sometimes only with a word from a distance. He was never confined to one pattern. We also believe that God heals through the natural processes He created within our bodies. He is the author of nature and of its processes, so a gradual healing that comes through medicine and treatment is no less from His hand than an instant touch. All true healing is divine because it comes from Him.

That gives us confidence to pray for His healing power to work in you both directly and through the skill of your doctors and the treatments you receive. We pray for healing not only for your body but for peace in your mind and heart, for He restores the whole person.

We do not know all that the future holds, but we trust the wisdom and love of the One who bore our sins and our sicknesses on the cross. Through faith in Jesus Christ alone we have forgiveness and hope, and we can come boldly to the Father in His name.

May the Lord give you strength for each day, guard you and your family, guide your decisions, and supply what you need. May you sense His presence close to you in treatment and at home, and may His perfect will be done in your life with mercy and grace.

We pray this in the name of Jesus, asking for His healing, His guidance, His protection, and His provision over you and your household. Amen.
