Healing from stroke

We join you in lifting up your beloved one before the Lord, interceding for her complete healing and restoration after this stroke. The name of Jesus is indeed the only name by which we can approach the throne of grace, and we are grateful you have invoked His mighty name in this request. Let us cling to the promise found in James 5:14-15, which says, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven."* We trust in God’s power to heal, for nothing is impossible for Him.
Yet, we must also remember that God’s ways are higher than ours, and His timing is perfect. Even in suffering, He is working for the good of those who love Him (Romans 8:28). We pray that this trial will draw your loved one—and you—closer to the Lord, strengthening your faith and dependence on Him. May she experience His peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding her heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
We also encourage you to surround her with prayer, Scripture, and the support of the body of Christ. Let her hear the words of Psalm 34:17-19: *"The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all."* Claim these promises over her life, trusting that God is faithful.
Heavenly Father, we come before You with humble hearts, asking for Your healing touch upon this precious daughter. You are Jehovah-Rapha, the Lord who heals. We ask that You restore her body fully, renewing her strength and mind. Remove every effect of this stroke, and let her life be a testimony of Your power and grace. If there is any sin or unconfessed area in her life, Lord, bring conviction and repentance, that she may walk in fullness with You. We also pray for the medical team attending to her—give them wisdom, skill, and discernment.
Lord, we ask that You spare her life to see the glory You have in store for her and her loved ones. May her healing bring honor to Your name and draw many to You. Strengthen her family with Your peace and hope as they wait on You. Let this season be one where faith is refined, and Your presence is tangibly felt.
We rebuke any spirit of fear, doubt, or despair in the name of Jesus. We declare that life and healing flow from You, and we stand on Your promises. May Your will be done, Lord, and may Your name be glorified through this situation. We pray all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Healer. Amen.
