We come before the Lord with hearts full of compassion for your struggle with acute autoimmune disease and the painful flare-ups of eczema that bring discomfort and distress. The Word of God reminds us in Psalm 103:2-3, "Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases." We stand on this promise, believing that the Lord is not only able but willing to bring healing to your body, for He is the Great Physician who cares deeply for you.
We also recognize that healing is not always instantaneous, and the journey can be wearisome. James 5:14-15 encourages us, "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven." We lift you up in prayer, asking the Lord to strengthen your faith and grant you patience as you wait on Him. We pray for wisdom for your doctors and healthcare providers, that they may be guided by the Holy Spirit in treating you.
Father God, in the mighty name of Jesus, we come before Your throne of grace on behalf of our dear brother/sister who is suffering. We ask You to touch their body with Your healing hand. Lord, we rebuke the spirit of infirmity that seeks to torment and bind them. We declare that by the stripes of Jesus, they are healed (Isaiah 53:5). We pray for the autoimmune disease to be silenced, for the flare-ups to subside, and for the itching and discomfort to cease. Restore their skin, Lord, and bring complete healing to every cell and fiber of their being.
We also pray for peace to flood their heart and mind, for we know that anxiety and stress can exacerbate physical ailments. Philippians 4:6-7 reminds us, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." May Your peace, which transcends all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus.
Lord, we ask that You draw near to them in this season. Let them feel Your presence and know that You are with them, even in the midst of the storm. Strengthen their faith, and help them to trust in Your perfect timing and plan. We declare that this trial will not define them but will be used for Your glory and their testimony. May they emerge from this season stronger in faith and closer to You.
We also encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in prayer and to surround yourself with a community of believers who can uplift you in prayer and support. Do not lose heart, for the Lord is faithful, and His mercies are new every morning (Lamentations 3:22-23). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2), and trust that He is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28).
Lastly, we want to gently remind you of the importance of coming to God in the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father (John 14:6), and there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not already, we encourage you to place your faith and trust in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. Confess your sins, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). This is the foundation of our faith and the source of our hope and healing.
We continue to stand with you in prayer, believing for your complete healing and restoration. May the Lord bless you and keep you; may He make His face shine on you and be gracious to you; may He lift up His countenance on you and give you peace (Numbers 6:24-26). In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
