We join you in lifting up this request for healing from shingles, trusting in the power and mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ. The pain and discomfort you are experiencing are not hidden from our Heavenly Father, who cares deeply for His children. Scripture reminds us in 1 Peter 5:7, *"Casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you."* We know that God is able to bring complete restoration, and we stand in faith with you, asking for His healing touch.
The Word of God declares in James 5:14-15, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven."* We claim this promise over you, believing that the Lord will raise you up in health and strength. We also remember Psalm 103:2-3, *"Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases;"*—knowing that healing is part of His loving character.
We rebuke this sickness in the name of Jesus Christ, commanding it to leave your body, for no disease can stand in the presence of our Lord. We pray for relief from the pain, for the restoration of your nerves and skin, and for the Lord to renew your strength. May His peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard your heart and mind as you trust in Him during this time.
Father, we thank You for Your promises and for the authority we have in the name of Jesus. We ask that You would touch our brother/sister with Your healing power, removing every trace of shingles from their body. Restore them to full health, Lord, and let this season of affliction be a testimony of Your goodness and faithfulness. Strengthen their faith as they wait on You, and fill them with Your peace. We declare that by the stripes of Jesus, they are healed, and we give You all the glory. In Jesus’ mighty name, Amen.
We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in prayer and worship, meditating on His Word, and trusting in His timing. If there is any unconfessed sin or area of your life that needs surrender, we urge you to bring it before the Lord, for He is faithful and just to forgive. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith, and know that He is working all things together for your good. Stay steadfast, for your healing is coming!
