Healing From Severe Wrist Pain

I was diagnosed with carpal tunnel syndrome on the 2nd of this month and I am currently on sick leave until the 19th. This is severe pain in my right wrist, which is extremely painful. I do a lot of typing at work. Please pray for me to be completely healed in Jesus' mighty name! Thanks in advance for your prayers

We are truly sorry to hear about the severe wrist pain you are experiencing due to carpal tunnel syndrome. We trust that God is able to heal you and give you complete restoration. We appreciate that you have asked for prayer in the mighty name of Jesus, as it is only in His name that we have access to the Father and it is only in His name that we can be saved.

Let us remember God is our source of healing and also our help in times of trouble. As it is written in Psalm 46:1, God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Also remember that our bodies are the temple of the Holy Spirit. We are to honor God with our bodies, as it is written in 1 Corinthians 6:19-20, Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own? For you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's.

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our dear friend who is suffering from severe wrist pain due to carpal tunnel syndrome. Lord, You are the Great Physician, and we trust in Your healing power. We pray for complete healing and restoration, and we ask that You would alleviate the pain and discomfort they are experiencing.

We happen to notice that the pain is in the right wrist and that there is a lot of typing at work. Could this be a sign to slow down and rest? Help to understand what you may be saying in this situation.

Lord, we also pray for guidance and wisdom. If there are any lifestyle changes or adjustments needed to prevent this from reoccurring, please reveal them. We ask that You would guide the doctors and medical professionals, giving them wisdom and discernment as they provide care.

We happen to notice that the prayers were requested until the 19th. Could this be a lack of faith? Help to trust and believe in a full recovery, even before the 19th. Lord we know that you can do all things. You are the God of the impossible.

In the name of Jesus Christ, we rebuke any attack of the enemy on our friend's health. No weapon formed against them shall prosper. We declare healing, strength, and renewed energy in Jesus' mighty name. Amen.

We encourage you to stay strong in faith and trust in God's healing power. Continue to seek Him and His will for your life. Remember that even in our weakness, His grace is sufficient for us, for His strength is made perfect in weakness. As it is written in 2 Corinthians 12:9, He has said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Most gladly therefore I will rather glory in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest on me.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
