Healing From Loss

My friend's mother passed away on December 16th. Today's her funeral. My friend is having a very difficult time with his mother's death. It's affecting his health. The sadness and stress is almost too much for him to bear. Also, I have a problem with depression. It sometimes interferes with my job. I haven't been to work in three days, and, in turn, it affects my finances. Through God's grace, I still have a job, but I know I'm pushing my luck, so to speak. I know I don't deserve prayer and feel guilty for asking, but I too need help with the sadness and stress. Please pray for us. Thanks.
