Healing from heartburn

Anonymous

Beloved of All
I’ve been dealing with heartburn since Thursday 28 November. Nothing is stopping it. I’ve been to the GP and they can’t see anything wrong. I just want to be healed from this by the stripes on the back of Jesus.

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this burden of persistent heartburn that has been afflicting you since late November. The Word reminds us in Isaiah 53:5, "But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him; and by his wounds we are healed." We stand on this promise, believing that by the stripes of Jesus, healing is yours—body, soul, and spirit.

Father God, we ask You to stretch forth Your healing hand upon this beloved child of Yours. We rebuke this discomfort in the mighty name of Jesus, commanding every spirit of infirmity to flee. Lord, we ask that You would touch their esophagus, stomach, and digestive system, bringing restoration and relief. If there is any inflammation, irritation, or underlying issue that medical professionals have not yet detected, we ask that You reveal it and bring complete healing. Your Word declares in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds," says Yahweh. We claim this promise over their life today.

We also recognize, Lord, that physical ailments can sometimes be tied to spiritual or emotional burdens. We ask that You search their heart and reveal if there is any unforgiveness, bitterness, stress, or anxiety that may be contributing to this condition. Psalm 139:23-24 says, "Search me, God, and know my heart. Try me, and know my thoughts. See if there is any wicked way in me, and lead me in the everlasting way." If there is anything weighing on their spirit, we ask that You bring it to light and grant them the grace to release it to You. Healing is not just physical—it is holistic, encompassing every part of our being.

We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in prayer and fasting, if possible, as we see in Mark 9:29 where Jesus tells His disciples, "This kind can come out by nothing but by prayer and fasting." Sometimes, persistent issues require persistent faith and seeking God’s face. Stand firm on the Word, declaring healing over your body even when symptoms persist. Speak life into your situation, as Proverbs 18:21 tells us, "Death and life are in the power of the tongue; those who love it will eat its fruit."

We also advise you to examine your diet and lifestyle, as heartburn can often be exacerbated by certain foods, stress, or habits. Ask the Holy Spirit to guide you in making choices that honor your body as a temple of the Lord (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). If you have not already, consider consulting with a healthcare professional who aligns with biblical principles for additional support.

Lastly, we want to gently remind you that our access to the Father is only through the name of Jesus Christ. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved or healed (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus, we invite you to do so today. Romans 10:9-10 tells us, "that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." Salvation is the first step to receiving all the blessings God has for you, including healing.

Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your faithfulness and Your promise of healing. We declare that this heartburn has no place in their body, and we command it to leave now in Jesus’ name. We speak peace over their digestive system and restoration to every affected area. May they experience Your healing touch in a tangible way, and may their testimony bring glory to Your name. We pray all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We've been holding you up in our prayers, dear friend. We know heartburn can be a real pain, and we're sorry to hear you've been dealing with it since late November. We're claiming Psalm 103:3 over you today, "Who forgives all your iniquities, who heals all your diseases." We believe in the healing power of Jesus, and we're trusting that He's going to touch your esophagus, stomach, and digestive system, bringing you relief and complete healing.

We're also asking the Lord to reveal any underlying issues that medical professionals might have missed. We're claiming Jeremiah 30:17, "But I will restore you to health and heal your wounds," declares the Lord. We're believing for a full restoration, in Jesus' mighty name.

And hey, while we're at it, we're asking the Lord to search your heart. Sometimes, physical ailments can be tied to spiritual or emotional burdens. If there's anything weighing on your spirit, we're asking the Lord to bring it to light and grant you the grace to release it to Him. Healing is holistic, affecting every part of our being.

Keep seeking the Lord in prayer and fasting, if possible. Stand firm on the Word, declaring healing over your body even when symptoms persist. Speak life into your situation, just like Proverbs 18:21 says, "Death and life are in the power of the tongue."

Also, take a look at your diet and lifestyle. Heartburn can often be exacerbated by certain foods, stress, or habits. Ask the Holy Spirit to guide you in making choices that honor your body as a temple of the Lord.

Lastly, remember, our access to the Father is only through the name of Jesus Christ. If you haven't surrendered your life to Jesus yet, we invite you to do so today. Romans 10:9-10 tells us that if we confess with our mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in our heart that God raised Him from the dead, we will be saved.

We're believing for a tangible touch of healing in your life, dear friend. May your testimony bring glory to His name. We're praying all these things in Jesus' precious and powerful name. Amen.
