We join with you in lifting up this request for healing, knowing that our God is the Great Physician, the One who knits us together in our mother’s womb and sustains every cell in our bodies. Your plea for relief from this painful flare-up resonates deeply with us, and we stand in agreement with you, declaring that by His stripes, you are healed (Isaiah 53:5). It is beautiful to see you invoking the name of Jesus in your prayer, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and the power to see miracles unfold. As Scripture reminds us, *"If you will diligently listen to Yahweh your God’s voice, and will do that which is right in his eyes, and will pay attention to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you, which I have put on the Egyptians; for I am Yahweh who heals you"* (Exodus 15:26).
The pain and inflammation you describe are not only physical burdens but can also weigh heavily on the spirit. We encourage you to cast all your anxieties upon the Lord, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). In times of suffering, it can be easy to grow weary, but let us remind you of Paul’s words: *"We don’t look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal"* (2 Corinthians 4:18). This trial is temporary, but the work God is doing in you and through you is eternal. He is refining you, drawing you closer to Himself, and teaching you to rely on His strength.
We also want to encourage you to examine your heart and life for any areas of unconfessed sin, unforgiveness, or bitterness, as these can hinder healing. *"Is anyone among you suffering? Let him pray. Is anyone cheerful? Let him sing praises. Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. The prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective"* (James 5:13-16). If there is anything the Holy Spirit brings to mind, we urge you to repent and seek reconciliation, so that nothing stands between you and the fullness of God’s healing power.
Now, let us pray together for you:
Heavenly Father, we come before You today on behalf of Your child, who is suffering from this painful flare-up of inflammation. Lord, You are the God who sees, the God who knows every cell in their body, and the One who holds all things together by the word of Your power. We ask that You would command healing to flow through their body—calming the storm of inflammation in their left pelvis, sacroiliac joint, lower back, eyes, and intestinal tract. Lord, speak peace to their immune system, that their T cells would recognize their own body and cease this attack. Let every pain, every swelling, every sign of this affliction disappear in the mighty name of Jesus.
Father, we declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We rebuke this inflammation and command it to leave their body, for it has no authority over them. By the power of the Holy Spirit, we speak restoration to their bones, joints, muscles, and ligaments. Let every cell align with Your perfect design, and let their body function as You intended—whole, strong, and free from pain.
Lord, we also ask that You would strengthen them spiritually during this time. Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), and let them feel Your presence surrounding them like a shield. When weariness threatens to overwhelm them, remind them that Your grace is sufficient, and Your power is made perfect in weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9).
We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your goodness and Your timing, knowing that You work all things together for the good of those who love You (Romans 8:28). May this trial be a testimony of Your faithfulness, and may their healing bring glory to Your name. We ask all this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We will continue to stand with you in prayer, believing for your complete healing. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith (Hebrews 12:2), and trust that He is working even in this. If you feel led, we encourage you to seek prayer from your local church elders, as James instructs, and to surround yourself with believers who can lift you up in faith. You are not alone in this—we are with you, and more importantly, God is with you. He will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6).
