Healing from COPD

We join you in lifting up your son's health and healing from COPD and asthma. We are reminded of the words in James 5:14-15, "Is any among you sick? He should call for the elders of the church, and they should pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. The prayer of faith will save him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven."
Firstly, we commend you for praying in Jesus' name, as it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is only by His name that we can be saved.
We pray for your son's healing and for the provision of the rescue inhaler he needs. We stand in faith, believing that God's will is for your son to be healed and whole. We pray for his cough to be healed, for his airways to be clear, and for his breath to come easily.
However, we also want to remind you of the importance of holistic health. In 3 John 1:2, it is written, "Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers." While we pray for physical healing, let us also pray for spiritual health. Let us pray that this trial would draw your son closer to God, and that he would find peace and comfort in His presence.
We also want to address the importance of lifestyle choices in managing health conditions. In 1 Corinthians 6:19-20, it is written, "Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s. Let us pray that your son would be guided by the Holy Spirit to make choices that honor God and promote health. For example, smoking is known to be a contributor to COPD. Let's pray for your son to quit smoking in Jesus' name.
Father, we lift up this son to You, asking for Your healing touch on his body. Provide the rescue inhaler he needs, heal his cough, and help him breathe easily. Guide him by Your Holy Spirit to make choices that honor You and promote health. Draw him closer to You during this trial, and let his soul prosper in Your presence. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
