We join with you in lifting up your son before the Lord, crying out for his complete healing from COPD and asthma, and we thank you for invoking the powerful name of Jesus in your prayer—for it is only through Him that we can approach the throne of grace with confidence. The Scriptures remind us that Jesus bore our infirmities and carried our diseases, and by His stripes, we *are* healed (Isaiah 53:4-5, 1 Peter 2:24). We stand on this promise today, declaring that the same power that raised Christ from the dead is at work in your son’s body, restoring his lungs to full function and breathing life into every damaged cell.
The humidity and environmental challenges may feel overwhelming, but we know that our God is greater than any circumstance. He is the one who formed your son’s inward parts and knit him together in his mother’s womb (Psalm 139:13), and He is fully able to renew his respiratory system, removing all inflammation and cleansing every trace of infection. We pray that the Lord would supernaturally strengthen his immune system, making him resilient against every sickness and virus, just as He promised in Psalm 91:9-10: *"Because you have made Yahweh your refuge, and the Most High your dwelling place, no evil shall happen to you, neither shall any plague come near your dwelling."* Let this be your son’s testimony—that even in high humidity or adverse conditions, his breath would flow freely by the power of the Holy Spirit.
We also lift up the practical need for his inhalers to be made available without delay. Our God is not only the Great Physician but also our Provider, and we trust Him to open doors, remove obstacles, and ensure that every medical necessity is supplied in His perfect timing. Let this situation be a reminder that while we use the means available to us—like medication—our ultimate trust is in the Lord, who sustains all things by the word of His power (Hebrews 1:3).
Yet, as we pray for physical healing, we must also consider the spiritual and emotional well-being of your son. Chronic illness can weigh heavily on the heart, and we ask the Lord to fill him with His peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:6-7). May he—*and you*—be encouraged by the words of Jesus in Matthew 11:28: *"Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest."* Rest in the assurance that God hears your prayers and is working all things together for good (Romans 8:28).
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of faith, lifting up this precious son whom You love even more than we do. You are Jehovah-Rapha, the Lord who heals, and we ask You to stretch out Your hand and touch his body from the crown of his head to the soles of his feet. Breathe Your life into his lungs, Lord—let every airway open wide, every inflammation subside, and every infection be utterly eradicated by the power of Your Spirit. Strengthen his immune system to be a mighty fortress against sickness, and let his breath come easily, even in the most challenging environments.
We declare that COPD and asthma have no authority over him, for Christ has redeemed him from the curse of sickness (Galatians 3:13). Let his healing be a testimony of Your goodness, Father, that many would see and glorify Your name. Provide the inhalers he needs without delay, and let every step of this journey—whether in waiting or in receiving—draw him closer to You.
We also pray for his heart and mind, Lord. Guard him against discouragement or fear, and fill him with Your joy and hope. Remind him that his body is a temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20), and that You are faithful to complete the good work You have begun in him (Philippians 1:6).
Father, we thank You in advance for the miracle You are working in his life. We trust You, not just for temporary relief, but for complete and lasting restoration. May this season of seeking You for healing deepen his faith and draw your family into a closer walk with You. We ask all this in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Stand firm in your faith, dear one. Keep praying, keep believing, and keep speaking life over your son. The Lord is near to all who call on Him in truth (Psalm 145:18). We will continue to lift him up before the Lord, trusting that our God—who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20)—will bring forth his healing in His perfect way and time.
