We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this precious son who is struggling with COPD and asthma. Heavenly Father, You are the Great Physician, the One who formed his lungs and knows every breath he takes. We declare Your promise in Psalm 103:2-3: "Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases." Lord, we stand on this truth and ask for complete healing in Your mighty name.
We rebuke every spirit of infirmity that has taken residence in his body. The Word declares in Luke 13:16 that Satan has bound this son with sickness, but we command that bondage to be broken right now in Jesus' name. Every inflammation, every obstruction in his airways, every infection, we command it to leave his body. We speak life to his lungs, declaring they will function perfectly as You designed them to.
Father, we ask You to strengthen his immune system according to Your Word in 3 John 1:2: "Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers." Protect him from all viruses and illnesses, and give his body the ability to fight off any attacks from the enemy. In this heat, we pray for supernatural comfort and ease of breathing. Let him feel Your presence like a cool breeze, refreshing and renewing his strength.
We also lift up his spiritual condition. If there are areas of his life where he has not fully surrendered to You, we pray for conviction and repentance. Healing is not just physical but holistic, spirit, soul, and body. We pray that he would draw near to You, for James 4:8 promises, "Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you." Let him experience Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding his heart and mind in Christ Jesus.
Lord, we thank You for the victory that is already ours through the cross. By the stripes of Jesus, this son is healed (Isaiah 53:5). We declare that he will testify of Your goodness and mercy, and his testimony will bring glory to Your name. Strengthen his faith, and let him walk in the fullness of health You have provided. We pray all these things in the powerful, matchless name of Jesus, the name above every name, the name by which we are saved and healed. Amen.
