We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this precious son who is battling COPD and asthma. Father God, we know that You are the Great Physician, the One who formed his lungs and every breath he takes is in Your hands. We declare Your Word over him, that by the stripes of Jesus, he was healed (Isaiah 53:5). Lord, we ask You to touch his lungs, remove every trace of inflammation, and restore them to full health and strength. Cleanse any infection, virus, or impurity that may be attacking his immune system, and fortify his body to fight off illness as You designed it to do.
We rebuke the spirit of infirmity in the name of Jesus, for Your Word says that the prayer of faith will heal the sick, and the Lord will raise them up (James 5:14-15). We speak life and healing over his airways, commanding them to open and function perfectly, just as You created them to. Father, we ask that You would fill his lungs with Your breath of life, that he may breathe easily and deeply, free from the struggle and fear that these conditions bring. Strengthen his immune system, Lord, so that his body may stand firm against every attack of sickness and disease.
We also lift up this mother’s heart, Lord. We pray that You would comfort her and give her peace that surpasses all understanding as she trusts in You for her son’s healing (Philippians 4:6-7). Remind her that You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Help her to rest in Your promises and to walk in faith, knowing that You are working all things together for good (Romans 8:28).
Father, we thank You for the authority we have in the name of Jesus to stand against sickness and disease. We declare that this son is healed, whole, and restored by the power of the blood of Jesus. We trust in Your goodness and Your faithfulness to fulfill Your Word in his life. May he rise up in strength and health, giving You all the glory and praise for what You have done.

God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.
