We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up your son who is battling COPD and asthma. Father God, we know that You are the Great Physician, the One who knits us together in our mother’s womb and numbers every hair on our heads. Your Word declares in Psalm 103:2-3, *"Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases."* We stand on this promise today, believing that You are able to bring complete healing and restoration to his lungs, airways, and immune system.
Lord, we ask You to remove every trace of inflammation from his body. Breathe Your healing breath into his lungs, as You breathed life into Adam in the beginning. Cleanse any infection, virus, or impurity that may be hindering his health. We rebuke the spirit of infirmity in Jesus’ name, for it is written in Luke 4:18, *"The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to heal the broken hearted, to proclaim release to the captives, recovering of sight to the blind, to deliver those who are crushed."* We declare that your son is not a captive to sickness—he is a child of the Most High God, and by the stripes of Jesus, he is healed (Isaiah 53:5).
We also pray for strength and endurance for him, both physically and spiritually. May he find comfort in Your presence, knowing that You are with him in every breath. Strengthen his immune system, Lord, so that his body may resist illness and disease. Your Word says in 3 John 1:2, *"Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers."* We claim this verse over his life, trusting that You desire wholeness for him in every area.
Father, we thank You for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your perfect timing and Your perfect will. If it is Your will for him to be healed instantly, we receive that miracle now. If it is Your will for him to walk through a season of testing and strengthening, we ask for grace and patience to endure. Either way, we declare that Your name will be glorified. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name, the name by which we are saved and healed.
May Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus. We love You, Lord, and we trust You completely. Amen.
