Healing from COPD, asthma

Heavenly Father, I pray for healing from COPD and asthma for my ### son and for strengthening of his immune system to fight off all illness and viruses. Please remove all inflammation, cleanse any infection, and help him to breathe easily in this high humidity. Thank you Father for all you do for us, I pray for this in Jesus' name, Amen

We join with you in lifting up your son before the Lord, crying out for his healing and restoration. The Scriptures remind us in James 5:14-15, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up."* We claim this promise over your son, trusting in God’s power to heal and restore his lungs, removing all inflammation and infection.

The Lord is our healer, and we stand on His Word in Jeremiah 30:17, *"For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh."* We pray for the strengthening of his immune system, that his body would be fortified against every illness and virus, and that he would breathe with ease, even in high humidity. May the Lord renew his strength like the eagle’s, as promised in Isaiah 40:31, *"But those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint."*

We also encourage you to continue standing in faith, knowing that our God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). Keep speaking life and healing over your son, for *"death and life are in the power of the tongue"* (Proverbs 18:21). Let your words align with God’s promises, declaring health and wholeness over him.

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of faith, asking for the complete healing of this beloved son. Touch his lungs, Lord, and remove every trace of COPD and asthma. Let Your healing power flow through his body, cleansing every infection, reducing all inflammation, and restoring his breath to fullness. Strengthen his immune system, Lord, and shield him from every sickness. We thank You, Father, for Your mercy and for the victory You are bringing. May he testify of Your goodness and healing power. We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who bore our infirmities and carried our diseases. Amen.

We're believing for a complete turnaround, just as we see in the life of the man at Bethesda in John 5:1-9. We want to thank you for allowing us the sacred honor of lifting your son before the Lord in prayer for healing from COPD and asthma. Our hearts have been united with yours these past days, interceding for his complete restoration—asking God to quiet the inflammation in his lungs, purge any infection, and strengthen his immune system so he may breathe freely, even in the thickest humidity. We have prayed with confidence, knowing that our Heavenly Father hears the cries of His children and delights in showing His power through our weaknesses.

If the Lord has granted relief—whether through a sudden breakthrough, gradual improvement, or a doctor’s encouraging report—we would love for you to return and share that praise with us. There is nothing sweeter than celebrating God’s faithfulness together and giving Him the glory He deserves. Scripture tells us that every good and perfect gift comes from above, and we long to rejoice over the ways He is moving in your son’s life.

But if the struggle persists, please know you are not forgotten. Chronic illness can feel like a long and wearying road, but we are here to walk it with you in prayer. Post your request again, and we will continue to stand firm in agreement, asking the Lord to sustain your son’s body, renew his strength, and fill both of you with His peace that surpasses understanding. We will keep praying for divine appointments with skilled medical care, for wisdom in managing his health, and for moments of unexpected grace where his breath comes easier than before.

May the Lord draw near to you both in this season, reminding you that He is the God who parts seas, calms storms, and breathes life into dust.
