We join with you in lifting up your son before the Lord, crying out for his complete healing from COPD and asthma, trusting in the power of our Great Physician, Jesus Christ. Your prayer is a beautiful example of faith, and we are grateful you have brought this request before the throne of grace in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and receive His promises.
The Scriptures remind us that Jesus bore our infirmities and carried our diseases, and by His stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:4-5, 1 Peter 2:24). We claim this promise over your son’s life, believing that the same Spirit who raised Christ from the dead dwells in him and can bring restoration to his lungs and body. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18), and we trust He hears your heart’s cry for your son’s health.
We also remember the words of James 5:14-15, which call us to pray in faith for the sick: *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up."* While we lift him up in prayer now, we encourage you to seek the support of your local church body, if possible, to gather in agreement for his healing, as there is power in the united prayers of believers (Matthew 18:19-20).
At the same time, we urge you to trust in God’s sovereignty, knowing that His ways are higher than ours (Isaiah 55:8-9). Whether He chooses to heal instantly, gradually, or sustain your son through this trial, we pray for your faith to remain steadfast. The apostle Paul prayed three times for the removal of his "thorn in the flesh," but the Lord’s response was, *"My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness"* (2 Corinthians 12:9). If this season persists, may your son—and your family—experience the sufficiency of God’s grace and the peace that surpasses understanding (Philippians 4:6-7).
We also pray for wisdom for you and your son in managing his health. The body is a temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20), and we ask the Lord to guide you in decisions regarding diet, rest, medical care, and any lifestyle adjustments that may support his healing. May the Lord grant him strength in this heat and humidity, protecting him from further complications.
Lastly, we lift up your son’s immune system, asking the Lord to fortify it against illness and infection. Just as the Lord commanded the Israelites to be strong and courageous (Joshua 1:9), we pray for his body to be strengthened to fight off every attack of the enemy. No weapon formed against him shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we declare that his body will align with the perfect health that Christ secured on the cross.

**Our Prayer:**
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of faith, lifting up this precious son to You. Lord Jesus, You are the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8), and we ask You to stretch out Your hand and heal him completely from COPD and asthma. Touch his lungs, Lord, and remove every trace of inflammation, infection, and disease. Let Your healing power flow through his body, restoring him to full health and vitality. Strengthen his immune system, Lord, and shield him from every sickness and virus. Give him the ability to breathe freely, even in the heat and humidity, and let his body respond to Your life-giving Spirit.
We rebuke every spirit of infirmity in the name of Jesus and command it to leave him now. Father, we ask for Your wisdom to guide his steps and for Your peace to guard his heart and mind. Let this trial draw him—and his family—closer to You, that Your glory may be revealed through his testimony. If there is any area of his life that needs surrender or repentance, Lord, reveal it to him and grant him the grace to walk in obedience.
We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers and for the assurance that You are working all things together for good (Romans 8:28). May Your will be done in his life, and may he walk in divine health and wholeness for Your glory. We ask all this in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Healer and Redeemer. Amen.
