We join with you in lifting up your son to the Lord, seeking His divine healing and strength for his body. Chronic conditions like COPD and asthma can feel overwhelming, but we know that nothing is too difficult for our God, who is the Great Physician. The Scriptures remind us in Jeremiah 32:27, *"Behold, I am Yahweh, the God of all flesh. Is there anything too hard for me?"* We cling to this truth as we pray for your son’s complete restoration.
The apostle James instructs us in James 5:14-15, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up."* While we cannot physically anoint him, we stand in agreement with you, declaring healing over his lungs, airways, and immune system in the mighty name of Jesus. We pray that every breath he takes would be filled with the life-giving power of the Holy Spirit, and that the Lord would shield him from the oppressive heat and humidity that exacerbates his condition.
We also encourage you to continue speaking life and health over your son, for Proverbs 18:21 tells us, *"Death and life are in the power of the tongue; those who love it will eat its fruit."* Let your words be filled with faith, trusting that the Lord is working even now to renew his strength. Isaiah 40:31 promises, *"But those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint."* May your son experience this supernatural strength and endurance as he trusts in the Lord.
We also ask the Lord to fill you with peace and assurance, knowing that He hears your prayers. Philippians 4:6-7 reminds us, *"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."* Rest in the knowledge that your son is in the hands of the One who formed him and knows every detail of his needs.
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of faith, asking for the complete healing of this precious son. You are the God who breathes life into our lungs and sustains us each day. We ask that You would touch his body, restoring his lungs to full health and function. Remove every obstruction in his airways and strengthen his immune system to resist illness and infection. Lord, let Your healing power flow through him, renewing his strength and vitality. Protect him from the heat and humidity that make breathing difficult, and surround him with Your peace and comfort. We declare that by the stripes of Jesus, he is healed (1 Peter 2:24), and we trust in Your perfect timing and will. Fill this family with hope and faith as they wait on You.
