We join you in lifting up your son before the Lord, crying out for his complete healing from COPD and asthma, and for the strengthening of his body to resist illness. How precious it is that you bring this burden to the Father in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Christ that we have boldness to approach the throne of grace. Your faith in praying in Jesus’ name is a testament to your trust in Him, and we stand with you in agreement, believing that our God is the Great Physician who hears and answers.
The Scriptures remind us in **Psalm 103:2-3**, *"Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits—who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases."* We claim this promise over your son, asking the Lord to restore his lungs, open his airways, and renew his strength. The heat and humidity may feel oppressive, but we declare that the Lord is his shade and his breath. **Isaiah 40:29-31** assures us, *"He gives power to the weak. He increases the strength of him who has no might. Even the youths faint and get weary, and the young men utterly fall; but those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint."* Let this be your son’s testimony—that in his weakness, Christ’s power is made perfect.
We also pray for wisdom for you and your son in managing his health. Are there lifestyle changes, dietary adjustments, or medical guidance the Lord may be leading you toward? **Proverbs 3:5-6** encourages us, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* Let this be a season where you both draw closer to the Lord, trusting Him not only for physical healing but for spiritual strength and peace.
Father, we ask that You touch your son’s body with Your healing hand. Remove every obstruction in his lungs, rebuild the damaged tissues, and fill him with Your breath of life. Let his immune system be fortified by Your power, and let no virus or illness find a foothold in his body. Give him ease in breathing, especially in this difficult season of heat and humidity. We rebuke every spirit of infirmity and declare that by the stripes of Jesus, he is healed (**1 Peter 2:24**). May Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard his heart and mind as he trusts in You (**Philippians 4:6-7**).
Lord, we also lift up this mother’s heart. Comfort her, strengthen her faith, and remind her that You are working even when we cannot see. Let her son’s healing be a testimony of Your goodness and mercy, drawing both of them—and all who witness it—closer to You.
