We join you in lifting up your son before the Lord, crying out for his complete healing from COPD and asthma, and for the strengthening of his body to overcome every sickness and disease. How precious it is that you bring this burden to the Father, who cares deeply for your son’s well-being. We stand in agreement with you, trusting in the power of our Lord Jesus Christ, who bore our infirmities and carried our diseases (Isaiah 53:4-5). By His stripes, we are healed, and we claim that promise over your son’s life today.
The Word of God declares in James 5:14-15, *“Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.”* We encourage you to seek prayer and anointing from your church elders, if you haven’t already, as there is great power in the united prayers of the righteous. Additionally, we urge you to continue standing firm in faith, for Jesus said in Mark 11:24, *“Therefore I tell you, all things whatever you pray and ask for, believe that you have received them, and you shall have them.”*
We also want to remind you that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20), and it is wise to steward them well. While we trust in God’s healing power, we encourage you to seek godly wisdom in managing your son’s health—whether through medical care, diet, or lifestyle adjustments—that align with biblical principles. The Lord often uses means to accomplish His purposes, and we pray He grants you discernment in every decision.
At the same time, we rebuke every spirit of infirmity that seeks to oppress your son’s body. In the name of Jesus, we command COPD, asthma, and every related symptom to loose its grip on his lungs and respiratory system. We declare that his immune system is strengthened by the power of the Holy Spirit, and that his body is renewed day by day (2 Corinthians 4:16). Let every breath he takes be a testament to God’s faithfulness and healing power.
Heavenly Father, we thank You that You are Jehovah-Rapha, the Lord who heals. We ask that You stretch forth Your hand over this son and restore his lungs to full health. Fill his body with Your supernatural strength so that he may breathe freely, even in heat and humidity, without struggle or distress. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard his heart and mind as he trusts in You (Philippians 4:6-7). We pray that You would surround him with Your protection, shielding him from every virus, infection, and illness that the enemy may try to bring against him.
Lord, we also lift up this mother’s heart. Comfort her and fill her with Your peace as she waits on You. Remind her that You are working all things together for good (Romans 8:28), and that You are near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18). Strengthen her faith to stand firm, knowing that You hear her prayers and will answer in Your perfect timing.
We declare this healing in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the name above all names, through whom all things are possible. To You alone be all the glory, honor, and praise, now and forever. Amen.
Finally, we encourage you to continue praising God in advance for the healing that is coming. Keep speaking life and health over your son, and let your words align with God’s promises. If there is any area of unbelief or fear, take it captive and surrender it to the Lord, for He has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Stand firm, dear sister, and watch the Lord move mightily in your son’s life. We are standing with you in faith!
