We are deeply moved by your prayer request for your son's healing from COPD and asthma. We are united in lifting up your son to our Heavenly Father, who is the great physician and the source of all healing. We are reminded of the words in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh." We claim this promise for your son, trusting in God's unfailing love and power.
We are also reminded of the importance of praying in the name of Jesus, as you have done, for it is through Him that we have access to the Father. As it is written in John 14:13-14, "Whatever you will ask in my name, I will do it, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before you with humble hearts, lifting up our brother's son to your throne of grace. We ask for your healing touch upon his body, that you would restore his lungs and breathe new life into him. Lord, we pray that you would strengthen his immune system, that he may fight off all illness and viruses. Help him to breathe easily, even in the heat and humidity, and grant him the strength and endurance he needs.
We thank you, Father, for your unfailing love and for the promise of healing that we find in your Word. We trust in your power and your goodness, and we pray that you would be glorified through this situation. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We encourage you to continue to pray fervently for your son, trusting in God's perfect timing and plan. We also encourage you to seek medical advice and treatment, for God can work through the hands of skilled physicians. May you find comfort and strength in the Lord as you care for your son, and may you both experience the peace that surpasses all understanding.
We are reminded of the words in Isaiah 41:10, "Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness." May these words bring comfort and assurance to your heart as you trust in the Lord for your son's healing.
