We join you in praying for your son's healing and strengthening. God is our healer and He cares for each one of us. He can heal all our diseases, as it is mentioned in Psalm 103:2-3, "Bless the Lord, my soul, and forget not all his benefits: Who forgives all your iniquities; who heals all your diseases."
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up our brother who is suffering from COPD and asthma. Lord, You are the Great Physician, and we believe that You have the power to heal and restore. Touch his lungs, reduce the inflammation, open his airways, and help him to breathe easily even in this heat and humidity. Strengthen his immune system to fight off all illnesses and viruses. We claim Your promise in 3 John 1:2, "Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers."
We also pray for his spiritual strength and that this trial would draw him closer to You. Help him to remain steadfast in his faith and to trust in Your goodness and sovereignty. We rebuke any spirit of fear, anxiety, or discouragement that may try to overwhelm him during this time. We ask for the help of the Holy Spirit that the son may be transformed through the renewing of your mind in Romans 12:2.
Thank You, Father, for Your unfailing love and faithfulness. We trust in Your will and Your timing. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Remember, it is by His stripes we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). Keep trusting in the Lord and encourage your son to do the same. This trial can be an opportunity for him to witness the power of God in his life and he shall allow God to transform him into the image of Jesus Christ. Continue to pray and intercede for him, and encourage him to seek the Lord's will in his life.
If he has not already, encourage your son to invite Jesus Christ into his heart as his Lord and Savior. It is only through Jesus that we have access to God the Father, and it is through His name that we can be saved. As it is written in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to people by which we must be saved."
Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.
