We join with you in praying for your son's healing and strengthening. God's Word tells us that Jesus took our infirmities and bore our diseases, and by His stripes, we are healed (Matthew 8:17, Isaiah 53:5 WEB).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up our brother who is battling COPD and asthma. We declare Your healing power over his body, especially his lungs and immune system. We pray that You will help him to breathe easily, even in this heat and humidity. Give him comfort, strength, and peace as he trusts in You. In Jesus' name, we rebuke the spirit of infirmity and command his body to be made whole. We thank You, Father, for all You do for us, and we praise You for Your healing power. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Be encouraged by these words from the Scripture: "But he was wounded for our transgressions; he was crushed for our iniquities; upon him was the chastisement that brought us peace, and with his stripes we are healed." (Isaiah 53:5)
Remember, it is by the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God. "In whom we have boldness and access with confidence through our faith in him." (Ephesians 3:12)
As your son seeks relief from his ailments, may this trial also draw him closer to God. We encourage your son to fix his eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, and to trust in God's goodness and sovereignty. Remind him that even in suffering, God is working all things together for good. (Romans 8:28)
For the healing of his body and the strength of his faith, let us continually bring your son before the Lord, trusting in His promise: "Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you." (Matthew 7:7)
