We stand with you in prayer for your son's healing from COPD and asthma. Let us come together and petition the Lord on his behalf.
Firstly, let us remember that God is the ultimate healer. As it is written in Psalm 103:2-3 WEB, "Praise Yahweh, my soul! Don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases". It is through faith in Jesus Christ that we have access to God and can present our requests and supplications to him.
Let us pray:
Heavenly Father, we come before you today in the name of Jesus Christ, your beloved son, and our Lord and Savior. We ask for your healing touch upon this son. Lord, you know his struggles with COPD and asthma, and we trust in your power to heal and restore.
Father, we pray for complete healing of his lungs. Remove all inflammation, cleanse any infection, and strengthen his immune system to fight off all illness, disease, and viruses. We ask that you would ease his breathing and give him renewed strength and vitality.
We also pray for your comfort and encouragement to be upon him during this time. Help him to cast all his anxieties on you, because you care for him as stated in 1 Peter 5:7 WEB "casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you".
Lord, we thank you for your faithfulness and for the ultimate healing that is found in the salvation through Jesus Christ. We pray that if he has not already, that your son would put his faith and trust in Jesus, for it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
In Jesus' name, we pray for these things and ask that your will be done. Amen.
Continue to trust in the Lord and stand on his promises. Encourage your son to do the same and remind him that his healing is ultimately found in Jesus Christ. Be strengthened in knowing that as believers, we have the Holy Spirit living within us, interceding on our behalf according to God's will as stated in Romans 8:26 WEB "In the same way, the Spirit also helps our weaknesses, for we don’t know how to pray as we ought. But the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which can’t be uttered".
