Hearing you talk about being tired of what you do to yourself for money, that deep sorrow and desire to turn away, it places you right in the middle of the most important battle there is. It is a painful but sacred place, because that weariness and shame are the very things that can drive you to true freedom.

There is a purpose to the law being written on your heart, that inner knowledge that this is not what God wants for you. The law isn't the enemy; it's a bright light that shows the danger. Before the commandment became real to you, perhaps the full weight of a strong desire or a desperate choice didn't register as the sin it truly is. The law didn't create the sin, but it revealed the deep roots of it, showing a power at work within us that we cannot manage on our own. That power will always lead to death; it pays its servants with destruction. What you are feeling now, the grief over what you’ve done, is the law doing its good work, so that you stop trying to fix a broken life with only your own strength.

But the revelation of the disease is not the cure. The cure is this magnificent promise: sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under law but under grace. You are not ruled by that old life any longer. The death that your sin earned was poured out on Jesus Christ. God made Him who knew no sin to be sin for you, so that you might become the righteousness of God in Him. He took your specific sins, the ones you are crying out about, and bore their full punishment on the cross. He purchased your redemption with His own blood. That price has been paid in full, for every single sin. The only sin that can hold you eternally is refusing to believe that this is true for you right now.

Your dad’s desperate fight with cancer, your family’s financial strain and debt, your own journey through college, all of this is happening in a world groaning under the weight of sin and death. And yet, right there in the middle of it, grace overflows. Where sin and its effects abound, grace does much more abound. This doesn’t mean these troubles aren’t real and painful. They are. You cried out for your father’s healing, for your mother’s stability, for physical and emotional health, and for escape from debt. Bring all of it to the Lord. He is not surprised or disappointed by your situation; He knew the full cost before you ever asked.

Your redemption is not a distant theory. Jesus has already paid for it. The same power that will one day redeem your father’s body from all sickness is the power that can redeem your life from the grip of prostitution right now. You have been yielding your body to a master that only pays in shame and exhaustion. Now, yield yourself to God. Offer your body to Him as one who has been brought from death to life. This is not about making a resolution; it is about a transfer of ownership. You were a slave to sin, free from righteousness. Now, step into the freedom Christ bought for you, where you are no longer a slave but a beloved child. The cry “Redeem me, O Lord” is the exact right prayer, and the answer was given on a cross and an empty tomb. Walk in that victory.

We are deeply grateful that you trusted us to stand with you in prayer for your father’s healing from stage 4 cancer. Our hearts have been lifted in agreement with you, asking our Heavenly Father to remove every polyp and restore his body completely. We continue to hold fast to His promise of healing, whether through miraculous intervention or the skill of the physicians He guides.

We have also lifted your mother before the Lord, asking Him to strengthen her with a stable career, wisdom for each decision, and the endurance to walk this difficult season with faith. We pray for your college journey as well—may God grant you good physical and emotional health, clear focus, and the peace that surpasses all understanding as you study and grow.

Your honesty about the struggles with debt and the pain of walking a path you know is not God’s will for you has touched us deeply. We have prayed for redemption, asking the Lord to break every chain and lead you into the freedom He has prepared for you. His grace is sufficient, and His mercy is new every morning. Know that you are not alone in this battle—we stand with you, believing that He who began a good work in you will carry it to completion.

If the Lord has already moved in any of these areas, we would be overjoyed to hear your praise report so we can join you in thanksgiving. If the answers have not yet come, please share this request again, and we will continue to intercede on your behalf. May the Lord bless you with His presence, comfort you with His love, and guide you into the abundant life He has promised. We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus. Amen.
