Disciple of Prayer
Dear Lord, please completely heal my dad from stage 4 cancer. Let all the polyps be completely gone. We may not always agree with each other and I still have personal sentiments on him, but he doesn't deserve cancer. When he lost his job, our family struggled even more financially. Please help my mother to have a stable career now, give her strength and wisdom. And I pray for my college journey. Provide me a good physical and emotional health. Thank you for the miracles you've done. Help us get out of debt too oh Lord. Redeem me from prostitution and I'm sorry for doing thsi. I'm tired of what I do to myself for money. I believe this is not what you want for me too. Redeem me oh Lord. Amen

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up your father’s battle with stage 4 cancer. The Word of God declares in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds," says the Lord. We stand in agreement with this promise, believing that the Lord is able to remove every polyp, restore every cell, and bring complete healing to your father’s body. By the stripes of Jesus, he was healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we claim that healing now in the mighty name of Jesus.

Father God, we also lift up this family’s financial struggles. You are Jehovah Jireh, the Lord who provides (Genesis 22:14). We ask that You open doors of opportunity for your mother, granting her a stable career filled with Your wisdom and favor. Strengthen her hands for the work ahead and remind her that her labor is not in vain (1 Corinthians 15:58). For the debts that weigh heavily on this family, we pray for supernatural provision and divine strategy to walk in financial freedom. The Lord says in Philippians 4:19, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."

We also bring your college journey before the Lord. May He grant you physical and emotional strength, guarding your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). The enemy seeks to wear you down, but the Lord is your refuge and strength (Psalm 46:1). We pray for focus, discipline, and joy in your studies, trusting that the Lord will direct your steps (Proverbs 16:9).

Now, we must address the weight of conviction in your words regarding prostitution. The Lord’s heart breaks for you, for He did not create you for this. His Word is clear: "Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body" (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). What you are doing is not only harmful to your body but grieves the Holy Spirit. Yet, we want you to know this: God’s grace is greater than your sin. He is not looking to condemn you but to redeem you. The blood of Jesus cleanses from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9), and His power is made perfect in your weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9). You are not defined by your past or your mistakes, you are defined by Christ, who loves you and gave Himself for you (Galatians 2:20).

We rebuke the spirit of shame and bondage in the name of Jesus. You do not have to remain in this cycle. The Lord is calling you out of darkness into His marvelous light (1 Peter 2:9). We pray for divine opportunities to arise, jobs, mentors, or programs, that will provide a way out of this lifestyle. May the Lord surround you with believers who will walk alongside you, encourage you, and hold you accountable. Remember, "If the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed" (John 8:36).

We also want to gently remind you that your prayer must be rooted in the name of Jesus. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). It is through Jesus Christ alone that we have access to the Father. If you have not yet surrendered your life to Him, we invite you to do so now. Confess your sins, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6), and He is waiting with open arms to welcome you into His family.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of faith and repentance. We thank You for Your mercy and grace that are new every morning. Lord, we ask for a complete and miraculous healing for this father. Touch his body, remove every trace of cancer, and restore him to full health. We declare that by the stripes of Jesus, he is healed.

Father, we also lift up this family’s financial struggles. Provide for them in ways that only You can. Open doors of employment for the mother, grant her favor in her workplace, and lead them out of debt. Let Your provision be evident in their lives, so they may testify of Your goodness.

For this young woman, Lord, we ask for Your deliverance. Break the chains of prostitution and shame. Lead her into a new life filled with purpose and hope. Surround her with godly influences, provide for her needs, and fill her with Your peace. Help her to see herself as You see her, beloved, redeemed, and set apart for Your glory.

We pray for her college journey, that You would grant her strength, focus, and joy. Protect her mind and body, and let her studies be a testimony of Your faithfulness.

Lord, we thank You for the conviction You have placed in her heart. We pray that she would fully surrender to You, walking in the freedom that only Christ can provide. May she know the depth of Your love and the power of Your resurrection.

We ask all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We read your prayer, and the weight you’re carrying comes through clearly. Thank you for letting us stand with you in it. Your dad’s diagnosis, the financial strain, your mom’s job search, your college path, the debt, any one of those is heavy, and you’re holding them all at once. But we especially hear the cry of your heart: “Redeem me from prostitution … I’m tired of what I do to myself for money.” That weariness is real, and God is not turning away from it. He hears the sorrow behind those words, and he wants to lift this burden from you.

Redemption is about being bought back from a debt you could never pay, set free from what owned you. Through Jesus, you are not just forgiven; you are untangled from shame and given a whole new standing as someone God delights in. You don’t have to clean yourself up first. You can simply turn toward him and let his people help you take the next step. A local church or pastor can often connect you with practical support, safe community, and maybe even help with the financial pressures that have driven you into this place. You don’t have to walk out alone.

We’ve prayed for your dad’s complete healing, that every polyp would be gone, and for God to steady your family’s finances, give your mom meaningful work, and sustain you in good health through college. But we’re especially asking him to break the cycle you’re trapped in, open a door you didn’t see, and surround you with people who will love you without judgment as you reclaim a life that honors him.

Lord Jesus, we ask you to heal this father’s cancer and restore his body. Provide for this family’s daily needs, steady employment for the mom, relief from debt, and strength for this student’s college journey. Most of all, we cry out with your weary daughter: redeem her. Cut the ties to prostitution, pour out your mercy, and give her a way out that is filled with real hope and genuine care. In your name, Amen.

There grows but one plant of renown, one sacred Fountain opened on Calvary, the leaves of which bring healing to the nations. You have cried for your father’s body to be rid of that loathsome cancer, and it is well to bring every affliction before the Lord. The Sun of Righteousness arises with healing beneath His wings for all who look to Him. But consider this also: the healing of the soul is a far greater wonder, and the same Christ who can speak to the sick of the palsy, saying, “Your sins are forgiven you,” holds full remission for every weary sinner. The leaves of that Tree are not only for the body’s restoration but for the deep-dyed stains of the heart. There is a Physician who lays His hand on men and they are restored, and there is but one. He gave His life a ransom for many, a plenteous redemption that takes away every particle of guilt and even the punishment of sin. No hoof is left behind in His complete redemption.

You speak of debts and your mother’s career, and the Lord knows your frame and your needs. Yet the redemption that is in Christ Jesus is a redemption by price, and He who bought you with His own blood will not forsake the purchased possession. Trust Him for daily bread, and seek first His kingdom. But I must press this home: the weariness you feel in the sin you named is the Holy Spirit laying bare the blackness and defilement of the human heart. That sorrow is not to drive you to despair but to the Fountain. Backsliding can be healed suddenly, as the snow covered the ground while we slept, and forgiveness brings release from its power. The Lord’s mercy is not gone forever. He can redeem you from prostitution with the same efficacy with which He blots out all transgression. Do not run the frightful risks of those who walk wide of Christ; rather, hear the Truth of God and only the Truth. Time is too short to listen to every babbler of false comfort. This cry of yours, thank God for it, is the stirring of life within. He has begun to heal you, and that healing virtue will work until you are without spot or wrinkle. Cast yourself wholly upon Him, and you shall find that His redemption is indeed plenteous, reaching to every sin, every need, and every hour until eternal health dawns. God grant it. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
