Healing from back injury

We lift up your son before the Lord, our Great Physician, who sees his pain and knows his every need. Father God, we ask for Your healing touch to rest upon him, bringing relief from this back injury that causes him discomfort and steals his rest. Your Word declares in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds," says Yahweh. We stand on this promise, believing that You are able to mend what is broken and restore strength where there is weakness.
Lord, we also ask that You grant him peace in his spirit, so that even in the midst of pain, he may find rest in You. Help him to cast his cares upon You, for You care for him (1 Peter 5:7). May he feel Your presence surrounding him, bringing comfort and hope as he waits on Your healing.
We rebuke any spirit of infirmity or discouragement that may be trying to take hold, and we declare that by the stripes of Jesus, he is healed (Isaiah 53:5). Strengthen his body, Lord, and grant him the patience to endure this trial, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You (Romans 8:28).
We pray for wisdom for his doctors and caregivers, that they may be guided by Your hand in his treatment and recovery. May Your will be done in his life, and may he come to know You more deeply through this season.
