Healing from back injury

We join you in lifting up your son to the Lord, trusting in His power to heal and restore. The pain and sleeplessness your son is enduring are heavy burdens, but we know that our God is a God of comfort and healing. The Scriptures remind us in James 5:14-15, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven."* We claim this promise over your son, believing that the Lord will bring relief and restoration to his body.
We also recall the words of Jesus in Matthew 11:28, *"Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest."* Your son’s struggle with sleep is a reminder that true rest is found in Christ, even in the midst of physical pain. We pray that the Lord will grant him supernatural peace and the ability to rest in His presence, even as his body heals.
Let us also encourage you both to remain steadfast in faith. The Apostle Paul reminds us in 2 Corinthians 12:9-10, *"He has said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.’ Most gladly therefore I will rather glory in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest on me. Therefore I take pleasure in weaknesses, in injuries, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ’s sake. For when I am weak, then am I strong."* Even in this trial, God’s grace is sufficient, and His strength is perfected in our weakness.
Father in Heaven, we come before You with humble hearts, asking for Your healing touch upon this son. You are the Great Physician, the One who knits our bodies together and knows every cell, every nerve, and every bone. We ask that You would bring complete healing to his back, relieving him of this pain that has disrupted his life. Restore his body, Lord, and grant him the sleep he needs to recover fully. Let this season of suffering draw him closer to You, that he may experience Your peace and trust in Your perfect timing.
We also pray for wisdom for the doctors and medical professionals involved in his care. Guide their hands and give them insight into the best course of treatment. May Your will be done in this situation, and may Your name be glorified through his healing.
In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray, knowing that all authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Him. We trust in Your goodness and Your love, and we thank You in advance for the healing You are bringing. Amen.
