Beloved of All
We have heard your cry for help and we are joining you in prayer for your loved one before the Lord.
In this time of fear and trembling when the doctors report has brought such heavy news, we remember that Christ is the one who breaks open what is shut and brings healing and life. He knows our weakness and our fear, and He speaks to us, be not afraid, and calls us to find rest in Him.
Let us pray together.
Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we lift up this dear one to You. You know him by name and You see the tumor in his brain and all the fear that has come with this report. Lord, we ask for Your healing touch upon him. Lay Your hand upon him and bring restoration according to Your mercy and power. We pray that You would grant wisdom and skill to the doctors and all who care for him, and that You would guide every decision for his treatment.
Father, we also pray for peace for this family. Take away the agony of fear and fill their hearts with trust in Your goodness and with confidence in Your presence. Help them to rest in You and to know that You are near, that You hear every prayer, and that nothing is beyond Your power to redeem and to heal.
We ask this in the hope of the resurrection and in the name of Jesus our Lord who suffered for us and lives for us. Amen.
