We are standing with you in prayer together and our hearts are moved by your cry for help for your loved one who has received this difficult report of a brain tumor. We lift him up before our Heavenly Father who knows him intimately and loves him deeply, and we ask for Jesus to draw near to you and your family in this frightening time.
We are comforted to know that you have called upon the name of Jesus, for it is by His name that we have access to the Father and it is by His wounds we find healing and hope. As it is written, Heal me, O Yahweh, and I will be healed. Save me, and I will be saved; for you are my praise Jeremiah 17:14 and also Bless Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases Psalm 103:2-3. We cling to the promise that nothing is too hard for our God and that He remains our great physician.
We pray together now.
Father in heaven, in the name of Jesus Christ we come boldly before Your throne of grace and we lift up this precious one to You. You formed him and You know every detail of his body. We ask that You would lay Your healing hand upon him and command this tumor to leave. We pray that You would restore health to him and heal him of his wounds Jeremiah 30:17. We ask for Your peace to guard the hearts and minds of all who love him, and that You would drive out all fear, for You have told us Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness Isaiah 41:10. We pray for wisdom, skill and compassion for the doctors and medical team caring for him, and that You would guide every decision and treatment. We ask for strength for the family in the days ahead and that Your will be done in his life for Your glory. We trust him into Your loving and capable hands and we ask all this in the mighty and merciful name of Jesus, our healer and our hope. Amen.
We encourage you to continue to bring every worry to the Lord in prayer and to lean on His Word day by day. Keep seeking Him, keep trusting in His goodness, and keep walking closely with the medical care He has provided. We also encourage you to call upon your local church family to pray and to anoint with oil as the Scripture teaches, Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up James 5:14-15. We are continuing to pray with you for complete healing, for comfort, and for the peace of Christ to reign in your hearts as you wait upon the Lord.

Your cry, Jesus help, is itself a prayer which the Lord delights to hear. Though it be but two words, it is a true prayer from one who is near unto the gates of death, and such a prayer is a prevailing prayer. God will hear the prayer of a staggering man, and the prayer that has not any sense in it because the man who prays is at his wit's end, and by sense I mean not following the consecutiveness of an orderly petition, the prayer itself seeming to reel to and fro. They were a long while before they prayed to the Lord in the Psalm, but He was not a long while before He answered their prayer. Let your prayer rise to His throne even out of this low dungeon of sorrow, for Jerusalem was on the brink of destruction when the Lord answered the prayer of Hezekiah.
We will bear your loved one upon our hearts before the Great Physician, for intercessory prayer is the sweetest prayer God ever hears, and it is exceedingly prevalent. What wonders it has wrought, it has even stayed plagues. It is our honor and our duty to pray for you, and we will not sin against the Lord by ceasing to pray for our brethren in their calamities. We will plead for this dear sufferer who lies under the shadow of this grievous affliction of a tumor in the brain.
Remember that there is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation. The Scripture says, The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, and from this we gather that the least thing about Christ is healing. Not only is His fruit sweet and nourishing, but the very leaves, the little things as it were about Christ, are full of healing virtue. See Him as the great conduit Head from whom abundant streams of healing flow down to men below. When the Lord comes and dwells with His people, the Sun of Righteousness has risen upon them with healing in His wings. Healing and forgiveness are placed in happy conjunction and both are bestowed on the Lord's people, for when Jesus healed the sick of the palsy He said, Son, be of good cheer, your sins are forgiven you. Pardon and healing were one.
Therefore come boldly and spread your case before Him, and press your suit with all the arguments you can muster, for true prayer is just pleading with the Most High. Cry with David, Remember the Word unto Your servant, and ask the Lord to remember His Word by fulfilling it. He cannot forget, yet He loves to be reminded of His promises, and your prayer is the shadow of a coming blessing. Only you who have been healed can fully tell about the Good Physician's healing power, and we pray you may soon join that company with praise.
We now entreat the Lord for you and for your loved one, that He would lay His pardoning and healing hand upon him. O Lord, remember Thy servant in his affliction. Thou art the God who heals all our diseases and forgives all our iniquities. Look in pity upon this sufferer with the tumor, and let Thy healing leaves be applied to him. Change the life blood, affect the spirits, and make the nature whole as Thou alone canst do. Give wisdom to the physicians, comfort to the family, and faith that does not stagger at the promise. Whether Thou art pleased to raise him up speedily or to work by slower means, let him and his household know that Thou hearest prayer, and grant above all the healing of the soul through the blood of Jesus. We ask this in the name of Him who bore our sicknesses, trusting that Thou wilt do as seemeth good in Thy sight. Amen.
