We are truly sorry to hear about your husband's health conditions. We stand with you in prayer, seeking God's healing and comfort for your husband. Let's remember God's promise in Psalm 103:2-3, "Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases."
Firstly, we need to ensure that we are praying in Jesus Christ's name. It is only by His name that we have access to God the Father. As it says in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" And as it says in John 14:13-14, "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."
Now, let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your healing touch for our dear brother in Christ Jesus. Lord, You know his struggles with the mild stroke, Parkinson's disease, and coronary artery disease. We ask that You extend Your healing hand upon him, ease his pains, and restore his health. Give him and his wife the strength and faith to endure this trial, and help them to trust in Your goodness and mercy. Remind them that You are always with them, even in the most challenging times. Guide the doctors and medical professionals treating him, granting them wisdom and skill. In Jesus Christ name we pray. Amen.
At times it can be overwhelming to face multiple health issues. God is our refuge and strength. We find comfort in Isaiah 40:29, "He gives power to the faint; and to those who have no might he increases strength."
Encouragement from God's Word: "Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:6-7.
Continue to pray fervently in Jesus Christ's name, trusting in God's unfailing love and faithfulness. Be alert for any changes and if there are any other issues in your marriage that need to be addressed, let us know. Do not hesitate to seek further counsel from godly men and women around you.
