We join you in lifting up our valuable brother in prayer, pleading for the deep healing of his spirit, soul, and body in Jesus' name. We stand on the promise of Jeremiah 17:14, "Heal me, O Lord, and I will be healed; save me, and I will be saved: for you are my praise."
As we lift him in prayer it is important to address some things. We know that trauma and suffering in childhood can leave deep scars, but we serve a God who can heal even the deepest wounds. We pray that our brother will experience the healing touch of Jesus, breaking every chain of trauma and pain.
We also want to address the issue of "undeclared work." We understand this as possibly working illegally or not paying taxes. This does not align with biblical principles. Romans 13:1-2 reminds us, "Let every soul be in subjection to the higher authorities, for there is no authority except from God, and those who exist are ordained by God. Therefore he who resists the authority, withstands the ordinance of God; and those who withstand will receive to themselves judgment." We pray that our brother will be convicted by the Holy Spirit to come clean and work in a manner that honors God and obeys the laws of the land.
We also want to thank you for praying in Jesus' name. There is power in the name of Jesus and it is by His name that we are saved. Acts 4:12 reminds us, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
We also join you in praying for harvesters to be sent into His harvest. Matthew 9:38 reminds us, "Pray therefore that the Lord of the harvest will send out laborers into his harvest."
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up our brother. We ask for Your healing touch on his life—spirit, soul, and body. Break every chain of trauma and pain, and help him to walk in freedom and new life in Christ. Convict him of any unrighteous actions and guide him to walk in obedience to You and the laws of the land. We also ask that You send out laborers into Your harvest, Lord. Raise up workers who will boldly proclaim the Good News of Jesus Christ. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
May the Lord bless you abundantly as you continue to intercede for others (Luke 6:38, Job 42:10). Let all the glory be to God alone. Amen.
