We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up your wife in prayer, asking for the Lord’s divine healing and mercy. The pain she is enduring is not unseen by our Heavenly Father, who promises in His Word, "Is any among you suffering? Let him pray. Is any cheerful? Let him sing praises. Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up" (James 5:13-15). We stand on this promise, believing that God hears our cries and is able to bring healing and restoration to her body.
Father God, we ask You to touch her with Your healing hand. Where there is pain, bring relief. Where there is weakness, bring strength. Where there is fear or anxiety, replace it with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Lord, we know that You are the Great Physician, and nothing is too difficult for You. We ask that You would guide the hands of her doctors and caregivers, giving them wisdom and discernment as they seek to treat her. Provide every resource she needs, whether it be medical care, financial provision, or emotional support, so that she may experience Your healing in every way.
We also lift up her spirit, Lord. Pain can wear down not just the body, but the soul as well. Remind her of Your nearness, for You have said, "I will never leave you nor forsake you" (Hebrews 13:5). Fill her with hope and the assurance that You are working all things together for her good (Romans 8:28). Strengthen her faith, and let her feel the love and support of Your people surrounding her.
We rebuke any spirit of infirmity or sickness that may be afflicting her, in the mighty name of Jesus. We declare that by His stripes, she is healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we stand on that truth. Lord, let Your will be done in her life, whether that means complete physical healing, strength to endure, or the grace to trust You in every circumstance.
To you, her husband, we offer this encouragement: Your care and concern for your wife reflect the love Christ has for His church (Ephesians 5:25). Continue to lift her up in prayer, speak words of life and hope over her, and trust in the Lord’s faithfulness. Lean on Him, for He is your strength and your refuge in this time.
We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, the One who bore our infirmities and carried our diseases (Matthew 8:17). May His peace and healing flood her life, and may you both experience His presence in a tangible way. Amen.
