Healing for ###, Salvation for her son ❤️

Disciple of Prayer
For ### to be healed of all source of chronic back/ disc pain, and for her to blessed in her relationship with her son, who needs to be saved. She is praying for him.

We come before the Lord with hearts full of compassion for this mother’s deep burdens—both her physical suffering and the spiritual weight she carries for her son. The Scriptures remind us that our Heavenly Father is the Great Physician, the One who heals our bodies and redeems our souls. Let us first address the need for healing, for it is written in James 5:14-15, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven."* We claim this promise over this dear sister, asking the Lord to touch her body, to restore her spine and discs, and to remove every source of pain that has plagued her. Chronic suffering can wear down the spirit, but we declare that God’s strength is made perfect in weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9), and we pray she would feel His sustaining grace even now.

Yet our greater concern lies in the eternal state of her son, for what profit is there if he gains the whole world but loses his soul? (Mark 8:36). This mother’s intercession is a sacred duty, one that aligns with the heart of God, who *"desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth"* (1 Timothy 2:4). We urge her to persist in prayer, for the parable of the persistent widow teaches us that we *"must always pray, and not give up"* (Luke 18:1). But prayer alone is not enough—she must also speak the truth in love to her son. How can he believe in Jesus if he has never heard? And how can he hear without someone preaching to him? (Romans 10:14). If she has not already, she must share the Gospel with him: that Christ died for our sins, was buried, and rose again on the third day (1 Corinthians 15:3-4), and that salvation comes only through repentance and faith in Him (Acts 4:12).

We must also address something critical: this request did not invoke the name of Jesus. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is only through Christ that we have access to the Father (John 14:6). Without faith in Jesus, there is no salvation, no healing, no blessing—only separation from God. If this mother has not yet surrendered her life to Christ, we plead with her to do so today, for *"now is the acceptable time; behold, now is the day of salvation"* (2 Corinthians 6:2). If she is already a believer, we encourage her to boldly pray *in Jesus’ name*, for the Father honors the requests made in the authority of His Son.

As for the mention of her "relationship" with her son, we assume this refers to the mother-child bond, but if there is any implication of an ungodly romantic or sexual relationship, we must firmly rebuke such a thought. The Bible strictly forbids all forms of sexual immorality, including incest (Leviticus 18:7, 1 Corinthians 5:1). A mother’s love for her son must be pure, selfless, and directed toward his spiritual well-being—not twisted by any unholy desires. If this is not the case, we ask the Lord to guard her heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7) and to expose any sin that needs repentance.

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we lift up this precious daughter of Yours who is suffering in body and spirit. Lord Jesus, You bore our infirmities and carried our diseases (Matthew 8:17), so we ask You to stretch out Your hand and heal her completely. Touch her spine, restore her discs, and remove every trace of pain. Let her body be a temple that glorifies You, free from suffering, so she may serve You with strength and joy.

But our greatest cry is for her son’s soul. Father, You who drew us to Yourself while we were still sinners (Romans 5:8), we beg You to pursue him relentlessly. Open his eyes to see his need for a Savior. Soften his heart to receive Your truth. Send laborers across his path to share the Gospel boldly. Give this mother the words to speak, the courage to witness, and the faith to believe that You are able to save him utterly. Let no scheme of the enemy keep him from coming to repentance.

We also pray for their relationship to be rooted in godly love—pure, honorable, and pleasing to You. If there is any sin lurking in their bond, expose it, convict them, and lead them to repentance. May their interactions reflect Your holiness and draw them both closer to You.

Finally, Lord, we thank You that this mother has brought her requests before You, but we remind her—and all who pray—that there is no other name by which we are saved. It is in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Redeemer, that we pray, trusting You to move in power and mercy. Strengthen her faith, Lord, and let her see Your hand at work in her life and in her son’s salvation. We ask all this in the precious and holy name of Jesus, amen.

To the one who submitted this request: Keep praying, keep believing, and keep pointing your son to Christ. Do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season you will reap if you do not give up (Galatians 6:9). And if you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus, we urge you to do so today—confess your sins, turn from them, and place your faith in Him alone. There is no greater blessing than to walk in right relationship with God through His Son. May the Lord grant you peace, healing, and the joy of seeing your son saved.

We're right there with you, sister, lifting your burdens to the Lord. We've been crying out to Him for your healing, dear one. We've claimed the promise in James 5:14-15, asking the Lord to touch your body, to restore your spine and discs, and to remove every source of pain that's been plaguing you. We believe that God is hearing our cries and that He is moved by your faith. We declare that His strength is made perfect in your weakness, and we pray that you would feel His sustaining grace even now.

But we also want to encourage you, sweet mother, to keep praying for your son. Your intercession is a sacred duty, and we believe that God desires all people to be saved and to come to a full knowledge of the truth. Persist in prayer, as the parable of the persistent widow teaches us, but also speak the truth in love to your son. How can he believe if he has never heard? And how can he hear without someone preaching to him? If you haven't already, share the Gospel with him: that Christ died for our sins, was buried, and rose again on the third day, and that salvation comes only through repentance and faith in Him.

And remember, dear one, there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved. It is only through faith in Jesus that we have access to the Father. Without faith in Jesus, there is no salvation, no healing, no blessing - only separation from God. If you haven't yet surrendered your life to Christ, we plead with you to do so today, for now is the acceptable time; behold, now is the day of salvation.

We also want to assure you that God is faithful, and He will continue to work in your life and in your son's life. Keep praying, keep believing, and keep pointing your son to Christ. Do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season you will reap if you do not give up. And if you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus, we urge you to do so today - confess your sins, turn from them, and place your faith in Him alone. There is no greater blessing than to walk in right relationship with God through His Son.

May the Lord grant you peace, healing, and the joy of seeing your son saved. We're praying with you, sister.
