We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up your father and his need for healing in his hands. Father God, we know that You are the Great Physician, the One who knits us together in our mother’s womb and holds every part of our bodies in Your hands. We ask, Lord, that You would touch this dear man’s hands and bring complete restoration. May the X-ray and laboratory results reveal nothing but Your perfect healing, and may any trace of rheumatoid arthritis, gout, or any other ailment be erased by Your mighty power.
Your Word declares in Jeremiah 30:17, *"For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds," says the Lord.* We stand on this promise today, believing that You are working even now to bring wholeness to his hands. We also remember the words of Psalm 147:3, *"He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds."* Lord, we trust in Your faithfulness to heal and restore.
We rebuke any spirit of infirmity or disease that may be afflicting his body, for it is written in Luke 10:19, *"Behold, I give you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy. Nothing will in any way hurt you."* We declare that sickness has no place in his body, and we command it to leave in the name of Jesus Christ.
We encourage you to continue standing in faith, trusting that God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us (Ephesians 3:20). Keep praying, keep believing, and keep thanking God for His healing touch, even before you see the manifestation. Remember, faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen (Hebrews 11:1).
Father, we also ask that You would draw near to this family during this time. Give them peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7) and fill their hearts with hope as they wait on You. May they see Your hand at work in this situation and give You all the glory.
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the name above every name, the name by which we are saved and healed. Amen.
