We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this dear sister in Christ who is unwell and in need of healing. Father God, we know that You are the Great Physician, the One who heals all our diseases (Psalm 103:3). We ask that You would touch her body with Your healing hand, restoring her strength and vitality so that she may attend her dialysis appointment today.
Lord, we declare that by Your stripes, she is healed (Isaiah 53:5). We rebuke every spirit of infirmity and sickness in the mighty name of Jesus, for it is written that the prayer of faith will heal the sick, and the Lord will raise them up (James 5:15). We stand on Your promises, trusting that You are working all things together for her good (Romans 8:28).
We also pray for wisdom and compassion for the medical professionals attending to her. Guide their hands and minds, Lord, so that they may provide the best care possible. May Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard her heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
Father, we must also address the importance of coming to You in the name of Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). It is only through faith in Jesus Christ that we have access to Your throne of grace, and it is through His sacrifice that we are healed and made whole. If this sister does not yet know You as her Lord and Savior, we pray that she would come to accept Jesus Christ into her heart, believing in Him for the forgiveness of sins and the gift of eternal life (John 3:16).
Lord, we ask that You would draw near to her in this time of need, surrounding her with Your love and comfort. May she feel Your presence and know that she is never alone, for You are with her always (Matthew 28:20). Strengthen her faith, Lord, and help her to trust in Your perfect plan for her life.
