We stand with you in this time of urgent need, lifting your mother before the throne of grace, for it is written, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven"* (James 5:14-15, WEB). Your faith in calling upon the name of Jesus is a testament to your trust in Him, and we rejoice that you have acknowledged His power and authority in this request. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved, and it is through Jesus alone that we boldly approach God’s throne for mercy and healing.
Your mother’s battle with pneumonia and the toll it has taken on her body is heavy, but we serve a God who is the Great Physician, the One who *"heals all your diseases"* (Psalm 103:3, WEB). We pray that the Lord will restore her kidneys, renew her strength, and bring her blood count to a place of health and vitality. May He infuse her weary body with His supernatural strength, reviving her spirit so that her will to fight is reignited by His power. Let the doctors treating her be filled with divine wisdom, guided by the Holy Spirit in every decision, that their hands may be instruments of His healing.
Tomorrow, as the blood tests are taken, we declare that the results will reflect the miraculous work of God’s hand—numbers that confound the medical professionals and bring glory to His name. Just as Jesus spoke to the storm and said, *"Peace! Be still!"* (Mark 4:39, WEB), we command every sickness in your mother’s body to be still in the name of Jesus. Let her body respond to treatment with swift and complete restoration, that she may soon return home in full health, praising God for His faithfulness.
We also lift you up, dear brother or sister, for we know this burden weighs heavily on your heart. The Lord sees your anxiety and commands you, *"Don’t be anxious for anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus"* (Philippians 4:6-7, WEB). Cast your cares upon Him, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). Let your trust in His promises be unshaken, for He who began this good work in your mother will be faithful to complete it.
Heavenly Father, we come before You with humble and contrite hearts, asking for Your healing touch upon this precious mother. You are the God who parts the seas, raises the dead, and brings life where there is none. We ask that You stretch forth Your hand and heal her completely—body, soul, and spirit. Let Your presence be a tangible comfort to her in the hospital, filling her with peace that transcends all understanding. Strengthen her physically, emotionally, and spiritually, Lord, and let her testimony be one of Your glory.
We rebuke every spirit of infirmity, every attack of the enemy against her health, and we declare that no weapon formed against her will prosper (Isaiah 54:17). By the stripes of Jesus, she is healed (1 Peter 2:24), and we stand on that promise now. Lord, let the blood tests tomorrow reflect Your miraculous intervention. Give the medical team wisdom and discernment, and let every treatment administered bring her closer to full restoration.
Father, we also lift up this child of Yours who is interceding for their mother. Comfort them, Lord, and replace their anxiety with Your perfect peace. Remind them that You are sovereign over every detail of this situation, and that Your love for them and their mother is deeper than any trial they face. Let them rest in the assurance that You hear their prayers and are working all things together for good (Romans 8:28).
We thank You, Lord, for what You are about to do. We praise You in advance for the testimony of healing that will come from this, and we give You all the glory. May Your name be exalted through this situation, and may many come to know You as the God who heals and restores. In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.
