We lift up your family before the throne of grace, asking for the healing touch of our Lord Jesus Christ upon each one mentioned. Father, You are the Great Physician, and we trust in Your power to restore health and strength. We declare Your promise in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds," says Yahweh.
For your son recovering from ankle surgery, we pray for complete healing, that the bones and tissues would knit together perfectly, and that pain would subside. May he experience Your peace that surpasses all understanding as he rests and recovers. "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds" (Psalm 147:3).
For your aunt battling pneumonia and RSV, we ask for Your healing hand to touch her lungs, clearing infection and restoring her breath. Strengthen her body and grant wisdom to her medical team. For your cousins with RSV and COVID-19, we pray for swift recovery, that their immune systems would fight off these viruses, and that they would be comforted in their weakness. "Blessed be the Lord, who daily bears our burdens, even the God who is our salvation" (Psalm 68:19).
We also pray for protection over the rest of your family, that they would be shielded from these illnesses. In this season of sickness, we ask for Your covering and for wisdom to take precautions while trusting in Your sovereignty. "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it" (1 Corinthians 10:13).
Lord, we rebuke the spirit of sickness and disease in Jesus' name. We stand on Your Word that says, "By His stripes, we are healed" (Isaiah 53:5). We declare that Your healing power is at work in each of these situations, and we thank You for Your faithfulness. Strengthen their faith and remind them that You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who have a contrite spirit (Psalm 34:18).
We also want to gently remind you of the importance of praying in the name of Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). It is through faith in Him that we have access to the Father and can boldly come before His throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16). If any in your family do not yet know Jesus as their Lord and Savior, we pray that this season of sickness would draw them closer to Him. May they hear the Gospel and respond in faith, for "if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved" (Romans 10:9).
We continue to pray for your family, trusting in God’s perfect timing and plan. May His peace guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
