Dear Friend, men may give up, doctors may give up but God never gives up on anyone. God doesn't expect the impossible from us, He wants us to expect the impossible from Him. Take God at His Word that He loves you, your mother, your family, those He love (1 Peter 5:7), Bring everything to Him in prayer (Philippians 4:6), and trust Him to direct your paths in life as He so PROMISED (Proverb 3:5-7). The power of God rests in the PROMISES of God. As you await God’s response I offer and pray this prayer with you:
Dear Lord,
I thank You for hearing this prayer. Lord You know y2009b cousin so much better than I do. You know her/his sickness and the burden she/he carries. You also know her/his heart. Lord, I ask you to be with this person now as you work in her/him life. Lord, I pray for this person just as your Word tells me to pray, for healing. I believe you hear these earnest prayers from our hearts and that it is powerful because of Your promise. We have faith in you, Lord, to heal this cousin. Lord, we don't always understand Your ways. We don't know why he/she to suffer, but we trust You. We ask that You look with mercy and grace towards her/him. Nourish his/her spirit and soul in this time of suffering and comfort her/him with Your presence. Let this cousin know You are there with him/her through this difficulty. Give him/her strength. And may You, through this difficulty, be glorified in his/her life and also in all of ours. In Jesus’ name we pray. AMEN.
